Can we make 'gifted' health packs count double?

I mean, if we give someone our health pack, it will hurt us. So, couldn't we have some sort of reward to offset the damage?

Like if we have one health pack, it counts as one for us...But, if we give it to a team member, it can count as two for them...

It would be an incentive to share. Also, if we know a team member is in need (it must be bad enough to give up our own health packs) there's a very good chance that we couldn't actually give them enough health packs to really help them, so the health packs would just be wasted.

I'm having a difficult time explaining what I mean, but does it make any sense?

Since no one has given or received any as gifts yet, we can make a rule like this, right?

You make perfect sense.

However, you forget...The Monsters are also running low on health packs from the previous outing in The Zone. AND, if one of the 19 winning contestants fails to fire his/her shotgun, they will ALL be shot TWICE!

It might all even out in the end.

Gifted or kept, a health pack will count as ONE health pack. Think over carefully about which Chainsaw would need it the MOST (because he/she might be the most likeliest of targets anyway), and then decide.

Sorry, Rayne.

If packs are used as gifts, do these gifts have to be done blind before the result of the slaughter? Or can it be done after the slaughter? i.e., conceivably, Phalanx's teammates could have resurrected him had they wanted to sacrifice their own packs after discovering his death?

In most games, you can heal the wounded but NOT resurrect the dead. So, I'd say it has to be before...

In ONE mmorpg I've played, dead players can be resurrected by a healer, but then they are 'zombies' for a while, with only half life and half defense, so they usually just get killed real quick again anyway...:p

Very good question. Blindly, of course.

All the gift-ing has to be done before Noon EST tomorrow when the shooting stops, else you will lose a Chainsaw much before a health pack can be rushed to him/her. Also, a contestant declared DEAD CANNOT be resurrected, even with umpteen health packs...sorry.

Ergo, send me your PMs NOW! Which Chainsaw, and how many health packs...be mindful of how many you yourself have with you.

missmacabre 04-02-2008 10:14 AM

now because you can't take the bullets back from being shot, it's like their being done in real time. Rather than planned and then shot at noon tomorrow.

So if enough bullets are fired to kill a member and they dont recieve health packs by then wouldn't they still be dead?

I think thats what the last message was getting at but confirmation would be nice
