Just checked out the remake of Martyrs.
Not a good movie. There are a couple of good looking shots and the main actress Bailey Noble was pretty decent but other than that it was a completely unnecessary and pointless remake.
It entirely misses the point of the violence in the original. They try to switch things up a little but I think they failed miserably.
Has anyone else seen it?

I watched it., and completely agree with you. After watching the original, I couldn't forget it... maybe for a week or two.But this remake...ugh. They even tried to make something like a happy ending, but they failed even this. And, in my opinion, two main heroines in the original were much better, although I can't say that girls in the remake were bad. |
