i like it too because of Wassen mostly - but at the time it came out i was getting a bit fed up with De Palmas Hitchcock 'homages'
which i thought were more like direct rip-offs.

i've since come to like it on it's own terms ..

Watched Dead & Breakfast, loved it. I am watching Pumpkinhead tonight, along with either one of the following: Audition, Tale of Two Sisters, Battle Royale, or Suicide Club.

Evil Dead 2

After beating Evil Dead: Regeneration, I figured the guy that helped me beat it aughta watch the movie. Considering Id just watch ED1 a couple days ago, and considering ED2 is much more like the game, we watched this. Still an awesome movie, of course.

Yeh that's been debated for years. I like the De Palma style of Hitchcock cause its got a real 80s exploitation trash thing going on. I really like his film Raising Cain too. But suspense films will always have a dash of Hitch just like gangster films will have a pinch of Scorcese.

The Brothers Grimm ~ It was okay; definitely had its moments, but some it I just found irritating, for lack of a better word.

Million Dollar Baby ~ Good film, excellent acting. But DEPRESSING.....it pretty much ripped my heart out and stomped on it for about an hour of the film.

Im off to watch that myself...hopefully I'll enjoy it.

The Legend of Zorro ..
