Could play the new tomb raider, could play aliens colonial marines.
Had them for about a week though haven't felt much in the mood to actually get into either. At the moment me and the girl play "Resistance 2" on co-op mode a lot. |

Taking a look at the new "Bioshock" tomorrow.
I got into a game called "EDF: Insect Armageddon" the other day though. Very simplistic, very grindy, but some good fun. It's like you're playing a bad sci-fi movie from the 50's. Though it works. |
I actually have been hooked on Black Ops...its been the only thing lately that I have been playing. Trying to get my diamond Assault Rifles now...got diamond shottys, LMG's, and launchers.
|
Do they...shoot diamonds?
|
Defiance, kind of addicting...
|
I've finally decided to give "Call of Duty" a chance - I found a cheap copy of "Black Ops", and although I didn't really think the game would appeal to me (honestly because realistic War themes makes me uncomfortable), it is actually a lot of fun. I am slightly annoyed by the long "mini-movies" that you can't skip, though... I have a bad habit of switching off my game in anger when I lose, then regret it 5 seconds later... and then I'll have to sit through a 5 minute movie as punishment :D
|
The house 2, an online game which i'm sure pretty much all of you have tried. :D
|
Oh, and by the way... can you recommend exmortis 2 for my website. Heard about it but never actually tried it:D
|
I totally agree with horror_master... Black ops zombies is awesome. My personal favorite is shang-gri-la since you can't just train. You really have to storm through the whole thing. I like five and der riese as well:D
|
Finally started playing Bioshock: Infinite on the 360... Really love the story on this one; refreshing to see they expanding the idea and not just plopping you into the same world.
I like it - In fact, I might just quit work and play some now... |

Black Ops wasn't bad. It's kind of actually a sequel of sorts, to COD: World at War. I'd actually recommend grabbing that, IMO it's the best single player experience of all the current COD titles. I just got through Lego Batman 2. Disappointingly short, but fun...now all I have to do is the grinding hours to unlock all the stuff. Complete at 30-something percent, bit of a joke really. Most of the LEGO titles seem to be a better length. Nice and shiny looking though. |
I'm playing Painkiller HD but i used to play on Silent Hill 2 and it was my the best favourite game but once i used to play on Tomb Raider 4, too and game was very scary for me but i was 10 years only.
|
Mass Effect on the 360... I bought it a few years ago, couldn't get into it, and then decided to give it another whirl... I don't know - I feel like I'm really working hard for this, but not necessarily in a way that I'm enjoying...

Still playing the Arkham Horror tabletop game, but I wanted to recommend an MMO that I've been playing lately: The Secret World.
Do you like secret societies (like the Illuminati)? Do you like Lovecraft? Do you like Indiana Jones? If you answered yes, you would like this game. The premise of The Secret World is that these secret societies have been guarding our world against evil and invaders from other dimensions for years, and now you are recruited into their ranks and must help. I also have been doing a second playthrough of Skyrim. This time as a Breton mage. It's fun, but I think my first character was more fun (a Nord warrior type). |
Finally beat Batman: Arkham City
Now back to Skyrim |

On the complete other side of the spectrum, I finally started to play Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3) - I found it incredibly entertaining for the first couple of hours, and then the clunky game engine really got to me... Oh, and the villains are really unimaginative and dumb. Too bad; this could have been a good, silly, fanboy schlock game but it just didn't come together... Ordered Dishonored for the 360 to hopefully fill the void. |
House of the Dead II.

Hotline Miami
Badass game if you like really fast paced action games with a little strategy thrown it, seems like it can get really difficult quickly though. I also like the fact that it doesn't hold your hand and makes you experiment a little with weapons and the environment. |
I have to double post, if only to draw attention to State of Decay. I absolutely love the game, it might not be for some people but it's on my shortlist of favorite zombie games for sure.

"Metro - Last Light" PS3
An open world (including side missions) and a freakin' map would've been MUCH appreciated, coz Metro has a lot of things working for it. Too bad i suck at 1 person shooters. |
"Risen 2" PS3
Last Of Us has to wait for a little while as i'm in the mood for some open world action at the moment. Risen 2 COULD've been more open, but it'll have to do. Seems a little dated graphic wise, but takes place in a world of pirates for a change, which i find quite refreshing. The combat system lacks some to be desired and can be rather frustrating as it feels more like luck than talent when you manage to kill equal opponents. |
Dead Space Extraction (Wii version).
I'm in the mood for oldschool on-rail shooters and DS:E is one of the best in genre. It's dark, gory and extremly fun to play if you like this type of gameplay. Even ghaphics doesn't look like s**t which isn't obvious on Wii. After Dead Space I'm going to check Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles :) |
Started on the Deadpool game, though I don't think I'll actually see this one through which is very surprising to me.
First of all the combat system, just doesn't really gel for me. The enemies are generic as all fuck, and the fight scenes/shooting scenes are simply boring and a chore to play. IMO the cutscenes and the presentation of the character are the only good things. The plot, of course had to be stupid 4th wall shit that's probably the only thing the fans of today are used to (deadpool series of the 90's, get it, read it.). It's humourous, the character is presented in a good way...but for me the game itself sucks. These guys would have been better off just writing a deadpool animated feature or something. |
Just started Bioshock today. Really liking it.
|
What, the first one?
IMO doesn't get much better than that...Infinite is nice and Shiny but IMO doesn't deserve as much credit as it gets. I found myself immersed in BS1 a lot moreso. No real shock factor or wowing or comparatively replayability with Infinite IMO...both decent games though... I recently dropped DEADPOOL which I may or may not try again later...it's just the deadpool character done very well in an otherwise bland and mediocre, derivative game. Started on "Spec Ops - The Line". Looks like a quality title. Have wanted to pick this up since playing the demo a while ago. Fairly solid, gritty 3PS with a decent storyline thus far and some nice voicework. Nicely presented too, and enemy A.I is not too bad either. |

Speaking of BioShock, just started replaying the first one - Still as creepy as the first time around. :D

I remember looking at the water the first time, all like...shiiiiit man, lookit that water.
|
"The last of us" PS3
That's the best voice acting i've ever seen in a game. Feels like playing a real movie. |
