The Last Winter (2006)

Icy/snowy thriller with a tiny bit of horror.
It's slow, the story was kinda weak but the movie wasn't boring.
Misleading poster though. And the underlying message was a bit pushy.
BUT... it's a movie set in icy plains. Slim pickings when it comes to those.

BRIDESMAIDS (2011). Wife picked this out and although not great by any means, there were some decent laughs. **1/2

One of my favorite female comedies.

The ending is the only thing I remember from The Last Winter. That was pretty cool. Very short but cool.

Nice Christmas comedy with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen and a lot of other familar faces including Michael Shannon. Until now I never realised he sounds a lot like Steven Wright.
