The more I watch this, the more I like it. It's quickly becoming a favorite.

I liked it too. I honestly thought when they made it out they were going to be in hell but I guess where everything became upside down the were going up instead of further down. Stories about the philosopher's stone always intrigued me as have the Paris catacombs.

"The Veil" (2016) 6-7/10

What an odd horror movie. I wonder what it was trying to say?

I don't believe I've ever seen Thomas Jane overact before, but holy hell did he do it in this one. Everytime he spoke actually, which did make him the most interesting character to watch as all the rest was just plain dull. Really didn't like the blonde woman in the lead role. Her acting wasn't meant for horror. And then there was Jessica Alba. Well... She was there.

"Ex Machina" 7-8/10

Slow but good.

I noticed today that this showed up on Netflix. I was interested, but sounds like it might be pretty average.

The story isn't average, Thomas Jane most certainly isn't average. Everything else is.
