- The redhead primate Machete, Zero, stealthily climbed up the low branches of a high tree and waited patiently. Sure enough, ChronoGrl passed by near him, talking to herself in some odd language. Zero took his Grenade Launcher and FIRED!! ChronoGrl was thrown 10 metres away and totally dazed from the blast. However, she had enough common sense to quickly apply her HPs to her wounds. FIT, with 17 HPs. She then turned around and RAN!!
Zero climbed down and smelled the air. He took a route opposite to Chrono, and cut her off easily, Rocket Launcher in hand. Chrono could not brake in time, seeing Zero right in front of her. Before she could even stop to think, Zero had pressed the trigger!
BLAMM!
The rocket hit Chrono square on the chest, and she flew off a couple yards into the trees. She crawled behind a big tree and somehow applied some more HPs to her wounds. She was FIT again, with 12 HPs.
Zero came up behind her, and FIRED again!!
BLAMMM!
Chrono's body was thrown away from the tree she was using, into a thick row of bushes. She was weary and bleeding intensively all over from her numerous wounds, but her HPs were acting quickly. She patched herself up, and crawled behind a big boulder. She was FIT again, with 7 HPs.
Zero sniffed the air, and walked forward...a six-shooter in hand, armed with 5 bullets. He came across Chrono's hideout and started shooting at point-blank range.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Chrono had ducked at the glimpse of the redhead's fur, but wasn't fast enough. Fortunately for her, she had fallen into a hidden hole...and crawled out of sight. She got her HPs out, and was FIT yet once more...this time, with 4 HPs remaining.
Zero jumped into the hole, and sneered at Chrono. Pointing a gun at her, he started shooting again.
BAM! BAM! CLICK!!
The gun went EMPTY!!
Chrono jumped out, and ran for all her might. Finding a safe place, she got some HPs out. Tired as heck, she had no strength to carry on running anymore. She was FIT, with 2 HPs.
Zero cursed at the empty six-shooter and threw it away. He got the other one out...and stalked Chrono. He caught her sight just before she was crawling into a dark cave, and fired THREE TIMES again...all of them thudded into Chrono's back, and she disappeared into the darkness of the cave with a groan.
Chrono muttered some silent prayers and patched herself with the final 2 HPs. She was Slightly Wounded...tired...perspiring...bleeding heavily, patched up like lighted bulbs on a huge Christmas tree...and had all but given up.
Zero approached her, gun in hand.
BAM! BAM! CLICK!!
ChronoGrl sank down...breathing racked with sobs and grunts...as she felt her body sway and eyes go black...she passed out.
And Zero cursed...AGAIN!
1 more bullet, he thought. And he had Chrono.
1 bullet...those were his last thoughts as he threw the other six-shooter away and walked out of the cave in sheer disgust.
Chrono made it ALIVE, surviving 27 bullets worth of wounds!!
...although Severely Wounded.
