Haha, just finished it up today. 100% on everything. It's very, very short. Again, I beat it in 7 hours. Including all of the side missions and collecting everything. Very good game though. Got mine for XBOX at Blockbuster for $6.99...Was going to rent it, but that was $7.99.

Sucky thing about it, you beat it and it gives you a really powerful gun and horse AND $300, you can't use them for anything though because there is nothing left to do.

@Phalanx
I had the XBOX version. I beat everything in it the first time through in 7 hours, no joke. I really want to get the Lost Chapters version though.

I don't remember if they "Boo" or not...I think they did. It's kinda cool when you do it bad through the game.

Also, never played Summoner, but I do have the sequel. Decent game, not nearly as good as Fable though.

Still playing Fable...I like this game...it's very innovative, and brings something new to the "action/rpg" table. The trading system is great, the quests and subquests are cool too. It reminds me a lot of a zelda game...it's DEFINATELY long enough though, for all those dissapointed with the xbox version, check out the pc version. (Hopefully one day, they'll just release the SAME versions pc/console-wide....damn unfair that some people pay to get what's essentially an inferior game just for prefering console or pc, although usually pc leads the way)...

Looking foward to #2, as soon as I have a pc that can play it:(

When people say Fable is short they're usually talking about running through the game... beating it. There are a LOT of side quests you can do to extend the gameplay.

Actually, I was thinking about that, the "too quick" thing...I noticed something a while ago when I was replaying max payne 1, one of my favourite games...it seemed a lot longer than I remembered, I thought back and could recall thinking upon the first completion "shit, that ended way too quick", I think that when a games is great, and you REALLY get into it, you don't notice the time, and between that and wanting more, it tends to make the games we really like come across as "short". I remember thinking the same thing about "dungeon siege", a game that was by no means too short...could be just a perspective thing in some cases.

@Phalanx

Not sure if you've played them, but if you like Fable, try The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Bloodmoon and Tribunal. Much, much longer and larger than Fable. Not as good on the graphics and aging system though.

You may also check into the series Gothic. It's similar to Fable or Morrowind, but it's a little less, do what you want, type of game. Still pretty good.

That crazy game, Doom 3. Was in hell, beat the Guardian, and thought it was over. I was going to be disappointed if ther game was that short, but thankfully, i am back in the Delta complex, and killing more demons on Mars. YAY!

Those damn Archviles are creepy....

.

The Elder Scrolls are amazing games, from Arena to Oblivion they're all masterpieces.

Haven't played any...I'll look into it.
Also, if you guys liked fable, another great microsoft title (if you haven't played it already) is Dungeon Siege. More or less like a fusion of games like fable, diablo, and warcraft.

I agree. I have all of them but Arena sadly.

I still find Daggerfall an amazing game even with the horrible graphics. lol

Right now, I'm playing;

Bully, Killzone, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and fixing to start back on Ninja Gaiden...That is one hell of a hard game.
