As much as I love Micheal Keaton, his Jack Frost movie sucked, this one was way better.
Say what you will about the obviously plastic killer snowman, the bodies that he churned out looked FANTASTIC.
No wonder it's a holiday tradition between my sister and I.

Love that movie. I watch it almost every year.
Have you seen Treevenge? It's a short movie about killer Christmas trees.
The style and effects are very similar. But there's more blood.

Ahh! I saw that on a topic some time ago and saved it for watching during the holiday season, but have since lost the link. It sounded terrible and I would watch the SHIT out of it. ::big grin::

I can probably find it easy enough on youtube but I forgot about it during the hoilday season and now it's over. 8(

The Hitcher-1986. Really liked this one. Much better than the remake, but then again........::big grin::

Was surprised the first time I saw The Hitcher in the 80s. It's a very effective film. It's a thriller, but I call it horror too.

Bone Tomahawk.

Funny. Atmospheric. Pretty solid performances all around. Engaging. Slow burn, but well worth the watch.
Some of the moving shots they did were really good too.
While some scenes were over the top, I found there was actually a lot of restraint shown here.
Richard Jenkins as Chicory...God damned if I knew it was him...he was a simple, but really likable character.
Dialogue shone.
Ended rather "so ok...we're done", but that's what it was, a story that was completed.

Hard pressed to give this one any less than an 8/10.
