shrooms

the only thing that annoyed me was when they mentioned the title like three times, " i'll just take some shrooms, "wheres the shrooms".........

also predictable.

Impossible not to love. To me, it shows boston as the rancid shithole i have always felt it was.

Devil's Rejects.

I liked it, but I like House of 1,000 Corpses better- it had more going on plotwise, and it wasn't so obvious about everything.

The_Return 09-10-2008 06:40 PM

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

Really liked it...Hoffman is quickly becoming one of my favourite actors, and I'd actually put this on par with - or at least close to - Lumet's older stuff.

Highly recommended!

^^ Classic stuff! One of the most under rated horror films ever.

Definitely up there with the best flicks I've seen this year. Really dug it. Bleak as hell...

Repulsion.

A textbook on great filmmaking.

Kane_Hodder 09-11-2008 01:57 AM

Dark Harvest.
Disappointing, even with the interesting beginning.

urgeok2 09-11-2008 07:42 AM

Masters of the Universe ..

I have a soft spot for this - largely due to Frank Langella's performance.

what a wonderful film.

Man on Wire
a great documentary about an extraordinary french guy who managed to sneak into the twin towers and tightrope walk between them.

Vodstok 09-11-2008 10:33 AM

So I Married an Axe Murder

Still holds up pretty well after all these years. Its weird seeing Mike Meyers in it though. Its scary to see how chunky he got by Austin Powers.

"Km 31" 6-7/10

A Mexican horror movie with quite an Asian feel to it. Not bad at all.

I agree with that.

Katasumi (In A Corner)

Short Asian horror. Only about 3 minutes. Nothing spectacular.

Jack Frost

Another horror-Christmas cross over. Fun film. Gets annoying after a bit though.

That's a rather tender subject. Another slice, anyone?

I also love the part where Frank gets busy with the two main characters.

Susan Sarandon was BEAUTIFUL!

you should, its pretty damn inspiring, and most of it (aside from a little bit of dramatic recreation) is actual footage from the events the guy did.
