The Dark Knight. Watched it at a dinner theater, so i got to enjoy the opening scenes while eating a brownie sundae.

I will reserve most comments for the thread in the gf, but suffice to say, you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you dont see it in the theater. Go see it.

NOW!

@Despara & Mothman,im watching Dog Soldiers now, before i go to bed.Oh and i found The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.I'll watch it tomorrow. Something I liked in Dog Soldiers so far is that a deer(i think?) fell from the tree,They all jumped like 10 feet in the air. While another one was laughing.

@ Alky.I also found Metropolis.Ill check it out.

Lemme know how long the version you watch is.

Noise

Excellent thriller from Australia. I'm really enjoying the Australian films I'm seeing lately. I recommend this.

I love monster movies.

I didn't think this one was that fantastic.

A 7 is bad? Your rating scale leaves me bewildered and disoriented.

"Bug" 3/10

On the cover it says, "CREEPY", "One of the most disturbing horror movies imaginable".

Well done? Surreal?

How???

Now, i'm not the person who needs a lot of money put into a movie for it to be good. But this was ridiculous.

What did this movie have? Good acting and that's pretty much it. But a lot of talking doesn't make a good horror movie.

i think the problem is simple.
you didn't like it because you were expecting a horror movie.

you can thank the terrible advertisement bug had for that.

I found it rather boring for a non-horror movie, personally.

I found it intense, unflinching, and very well acted. Sure, it had flaws, but it was a damn fine watch. I think people expected it to be a horror movie and/or didn't like the story and how ambiguous it was.

Ambigious? Seriously?

After 30 minutes i got it. They see bugs.

After 45 minutes i still got it. They see bugs.

After 1 hour..... bugs.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes they see bugs. Not dead people. Bugs.

After 1 hour and 30 minutes they still see bugs. The end. Thank God.

The most annoying thing about it, except for the lead actor who i'm not very fond of (Huge fan of Harry Connick Jr tho), is the fact that this story is about the two main characters seeing bugs, but the audience never do. We just get to watch 2 people freaking the fuck out for 1 hour. And apparently some people appreciate that???

I found it annoying. So much so, that I actually muted it during one of the freak out scenes. I just wanted to knock some sense into one of them.

The Cars That Ate Paris

Wacked out freaky film.

Great!

Was it the guy-freaking-out-on-the-bed scene? ;)

Thought that scene was sooooo bad.

"kinda bugged me" is the understatement of the year.

Thanks to those two very false praises on the cover it managed to piss me off a whole lot.

Reminded me of a thread i saw recently where a guy asked for "The Ultimate Horror Movies". And some dude, i'm not kidding, suggested Hotel Rwanda? I mean, what the hell????

Haha, You seem to have hit all the movies I did at that one time. First bug, then The Number 23. Next you'll probably watch Isolation next, if you haven't already. :p

Fell asleep...twice. Nothing happens. Totally boring. Turned it off (and I never do that) after 50 minutes of NOTHING!!!!
