The late Richard Laymon is considered one of the most influential horror authors of all time. Laymon went on to publish more than thirty novels, receiving praise from authors like Stephen King and Dean Koontz and becoming a widely known horror author in Europe (and later in the United States when he signed on with Leisure Books).
