I guess....perhaps I'm being a bit judgemental...it was a pretty good origin story, he did get the character right, he NAILED the laugh (or whoever did it), there was good fight scenes and they did bring spider-man to life VERY well, much better than expected at the time.

I dug Spidey even tho they made him a Harry Potter styled pussy. So +1
They really made the love story just plain pathetic and had the audience yelling "GROW A PAIR" compared to his previous incarnations. |
