The Invisible Man

phantomstranger 12-19-2007 11:05 AM

Damn! This is the toughest choice yet. But my choice, by a hair (no pun intended) is "The Wolf Man"

_____V_____ 12-19-2007 11:16 AM

The Wolf Man.

Lon Chaney Jr made that character immortal and was performance-wise, IMO, a notch above Claude Rains in Invisible Man.

ChronoGrl 12-19-2007 11:21 AM

Oh, what classic tragic villains... This is so incredibly difficult...

I'd have to go with The Invisible Man... I remember feeling so incredibly melancholic yet threatened by him at the same time...

Yellow Jacket 12-19-2007 11:50 AM

5-4, Wolf Man barely pulls out the victory. Next match up shortly.

Bride of Frankenstein. My all time fave horror film.

alkytrio666 12-19-2007 01:21 PM

The Bride of Frankenstein. The greatest horror sequel of all time, and better than any Universal monster flick, period.

Yellow Jacket 12-19-2007 03:05 PM

4-2, Bride takes the lead and needs one more vote to win.

Doc Faustus 12-19-2007 03:19 PM

_____V_____ 12-19-2007 07:34 PM

Talk about hard choices...

Everyone knows my #1 director is Hitchcock, and Rear Window is one of my all-time favs...

...but Peter Lorre in M was a real standout, THE most brilliant performance of his career, IMO...

hmm....
