Here's what the time differences mean to us in the UK

EST = 5 hours behind
Central time = 6 hours behind
Pacific (west coast) time = 8 hours behind

12am ESt = 5am here
12am Central time = 6am here
12am Pacific = 8am here

which means unless you have no work/school in the morning there's no way we can take part in this properly :(


i also noticed when i clicked on the link that Gore posted, i had to agree to say i was over 18 years to take part, now i know the younger members would probably just lie and click 'i agree' but it isn't very fair that they should have to do that, it leaves them open to abuse.... i know the folks here wouldn't do that but i did read that you'd had prank callers, and anyone just listening would know these were young kids, i'd hate for someone to report it and have it pulled before it even gets off the ground

We prank called a few people and Rayne got mad. I apologized and deleted the archive but I guess that wasn't good enough.

It's probably cool. She in all likelyhood just doesn't have the time to be online too much at the moment.

I hope so because she really loved the idea of all the HDC members calling in and talking. Only reason we did what we did was because no one was calling in and there were just three of us on the line and I was tired of just sitting there with dead air.

I am seriously hoping this not going to be regular thing - prank calls; but by all means phone me if you wish, I'll even give you the number. If you wish to phone the UK, brilliant, just Google - Strathclyde Police and you'll find me. :cool:

I am currently deciding about phoning through, it's a little inconvenient at the moment - I can set my phone to make international calls; but it costs £15.00, per month, for which I would get upto 3000 minutes. This and Gores' Radio show would be the only one's I would be phoning, so no offence to Gore, but am deciding whether it's worth it or not.

This I may add is subject to a minimum period of 6 months, so it's not as if I can try it for a month, then change my mind - I would still have to pay 6 months whether I use it or not.

I wasn't pranking any HDC members. So no worries. It is all finished now anyway. My show is tonight. As soon as BlogTalkRadio gets the Click to Phone feature up you can use your mic to call and it's absolutely free. With NowLive.com they use GoogleTalk which is also free to use your mic.
