Man songs like Biotech is Godzilla and Propaganda are awesome!!! By far their best album.

I gonna listen AC/DC Powerage and Roadstar "Grand hotel" (great hard rock album!!!! and it's from this year!!)

Elvis_Christ 09-19-2006 06:51 PM

Powerage is my favorite AC/DC album. Its one that always seems to get overlooked.

Jacob Singer 09-20-2006 03:04 AM

I think that alll the albums that they did with Bonn Scot were grear, but Powerage has a lot of great songs like : It's a long way to the top, Highvoltage and the Jack.....Damn!!!! It's a great album.

I've been listening to Amduscia's Melodies for the Devil quite a bit lately. There's some great EBM coming out of Mexico these days.

just bought Meat Loaf Bat Out of Hell III - i must say at first listen i thought it was a bit cheezy and that the various 'modern' bits thrown in (some hard guitar, etc.) were out of place. . . .

but, as often happens, as i listened to it i've really started to like it. now, granted, i liked BOOH I and II so i'm probably predisposed to liking this one - but i really think its a worthy addition to the legacy of the previous 2

Elvis_Christ 11-19-2006 04:26 PM

Surfer Rosa is the only Pixies album I can stomach these days apart from some of there b-sides. I've never really listened to Screeching Weasel....

I've been rockin' these fuckers today:

SIEGE - Drop Dead
http://www.interpunk.com/itemimages2/129327.jpg
Really dope old school thrashy HC meets Flipper. This band should've been huge. Quite possibly the best punk album of the 80s.

CHARLES BRONSON - Youth Attack!

I must seriously be the last dude on earth to get into these guys... finally picked this up and loved it. Gotta love bands that do 20 songs in about 13 minutes.

The definitive ODB story:

"YO....... YO MIAMI...... YO CALIFORNIAAAAAAAA.... NORTH EAST WEST AND SOUTH MUTHAFUCKASSSSSS!!"

I just picked up Agalloch's Ashes Against the Grain, so I've been listening to this one pretty much nonstop for the past couple of days. They've definitely moved in a less folkish and more metallic direction for this album, but I'd still say it more than measures up to The Mantle, and it's quite a bit better than Pale Folklore.

Hollertronix - Never Scared
