Bathory's first album
& http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...CLZZZZZZZ_.jpg ^^ Fuck I love this album. Quite possibly one of the coolest Metal/Punk crossover albums. Sounds a lot like Amebix in places. |
i hate to admit this .. but ...
the soundtrack to My Best Friends Wedding .... but... exclusively for 3 Burt Bacharach covers including "say a little prayer' by the cast .. Rupert Evert can sing ! i skip over all the other songs |
Korn - See You On The Otherside

I gonna listen AC/DC Powerage and Roadstar "Grand hotel" (great hard rock album!!!! and it's from this year!!) |
Powerage is my favorite AC/DC album. Its one that always seems to get overlooked.
|
I think that alll the albums that they did with Bonn Scot were grear, but Powerage has a lot of great songs like : It's a long way to the top, Highvoltage and the Jack.....Damn!!!! It's a great album.

just bought Meat Loaf Bat Out of Hell III - i must say at first listen i thought it was a bit cheezy and that the various 'modern' bits thrown in (some hard guitar, etc.) were out of place. . . .
but, as often happens, as i listened to it i've really started to like it. now, granted, i liked BOOH I and II so i'm probably predisposed to liking this one - but i really think its a worthy addition to the legacy of the previous 2 |
Breaking Benjamin - Phobia and Godsmack -IV
|
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
my 3 year-old loves singing "Starman" |
i found a bunch of styx albums on a MP3 dvd .. and was listening to them at work ..

http://www.evolvefish.com/fish/media...iangeRound.gif I've been rockin' these fuckers today: SIEGE - Drop Dead http://www.interpunk.com/itemimages2/129327.jpg Really dope old school thrashy HC meets Flipper. This band should've been huge. Quite possibly the best punk album of the 80s. CHARLES BRONSON - Youth Attack! http://www.29northrecords.com/images...onson_disc.gif I must seriously be the last dude on earth to get into these guys... finally picked this up and loved it. Gotta love bands that do 20 songs in about 13 minutes. The definitive ODB story: http://www.warnermusic.gr/images/re00002358.jpg "YO....... YO MIAMI...... YO CALIFORNIAAAAAAAA.... NORTH EAST WEST AND SOUTH MUTHAFUCKASSSSSS!!" |
I just picked up Agalloch's Ashes Against the Grain, so I've been listening to this one pretty much nonstop for the past couple of days. They've definitely moved in a less folkish and more metallic direction for this album, but I'd still say it more than measures up to The Mantle, and it's quite a bit better than Pale Folklore.

Hollertronix - Never Scared
