i guess i could have gone on to mention that Tammy eventually does sleep with one of the guys after a golf club dance ..

Tammy did like the attention because she didnt get any from her boyfriend - one of the golf pros at the club (who got her the job the pervious summer - it didnt pay much but she was tired of getting her ass grabbed by a bunch of slimeballs at the bar she used to work at - besides - they didnt tip for shit) who was far more into himself than he could ever be of someone else. Still hung up on his failures his near miss at being on the pro circuit. Sure he won a few regional tourneys but when it came to competing on a national level his nerves got so bad he choked.
If you sit long enough near him you'll sooner or later hear him lament about his bad luck and how some day he'll make a comeback.

So anyway - during one particularily bad weekend Tammy decided to work the bar at the Golf Club summer dance and ended up matching one of the middle age gang (Bill - who was always very sweet to her - unlike that pig Bryce) drink for drink.
Bill offered to drive her home. Bill's wife didnt come - Bill said - because of a bad headache - but in fact she left with the kids 1 month earlier - tired of the 'just scraping by lifestyle' instead of the life of luxury she desperately wanted. She'd had a couple of affairs - one with Bryce - and was now with a younger guy who was pretending to have money and will eventually leave her and her kids in a lurch once he runs out of interest in a couple more weeks)
So there's sweet Bill and tipsy Tammy - who stop in front of her apartment and chat for a bit ... and in her drunken state tells Bill all about her troubles, which leads to him comforting her, which leads to the first kiss, followed by an invite to her apartment.

akward sex insues - Tammy becomes sober and ashamed 1/2 way through the act, Bill apologizes and leaves, and never returns to the club - except for a work event several years later only to find that Tammy quit and left town that very same weekend. Bill thought he saw her several years later - but that was impossible - it was just a fleetingly similar looking girl - at the same age Tammy was when he last saw her.

Bill is still alone. His Wife and kids returned for a few months but left again soon after that when the next guy came along with a fast story, lies and promises.

Tammy's golf pro ex boyfriend eventually hooked up with an older cougar type - an alcoholic that hit him when she was drunk. He's doing 5 years in State for hitting back.


No one knows where Tammy ended up.

Watched the new Doctor Who last night.

Now, Ive never seen any of the old ones [Although Id like to], but this is a damn good show.

Christopher Eccleston, who played Charles Stewart in The Others, plays the Doctor, and he is friggin amazing, not that I have anything to compare him to. Absolutly hilarious. The effects are good, the storylines are cheesy but fun....I love it!

I caught the first 30 minutes of Iron Chef, Battle Sea bass. it was a french AND a Japanese chef vs Kenichi and Morimotot (CIron Chefs Chinese and Japanese respectively). I didnt watch the end, but no doubt the iron chefs whupped they asses.

Game 7 NBA Finals

Tim Duncan owned the second half which wasn't unexpected since he's the best player in the league and probably the world.

The Boy Who's Skin Fell Off on TLC

He actually wasn't a boy, but a 36 year old man who lived with dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa all his life. He died 2 years ago. Very disturbing show. I couldn't imagine living with that kind of pain for 36 years. I'd have been looking for the nearest shotgun or razor blade.
