Tuna at a check cashing place? Haha, nothing about that sounds legit.

Made some sun-dried tomato turkey sandwiches tonight for dinner. Sweet tea to drink.

Some people absolutely hate them.
I'm good with them, though I like them sliced quite finely.
Good in sandwiches, GREAT on pizzas and in pasta sauces.

They taste similar to both tomatoes, and tomato paste...hard to describe.

Ha, tomato jerky.

Yeah, I love them on pizzas. I'm actually not a big fan of tomatoes, anyway, but I can always do the sun-dried ones.

Experimented making a MANY layered lasagne and good christ it was rich! Couldn't finish the whole thing. Was it worth all the time? Perhaps... Wish I'd had some ricotta to make the cheese sauce rather than having to thicken up some cheddar white sauce.

Man, that sounds good. You do quite a bit of cooking , ferret?

I'm enjoying a bowl of cereal and a deep, dark cup of coffee. I actually bought a Folgers blend called Black Silk, which is surprisingly good.

made a tuna casserole yesterday......I thought it came out pretty good.

6 oz. egg noodles (wide or extra wide), cooked*
1 small can of tuna, drained and flaked with a fork
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup frozen peas, cooked
1/2 cup (or more) grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup fresh bread crumbs cooked in 1 T. butter until slightly crisp**
fresh grated parmesan cheese

my kids wouldn't even try it....."adult" kids at that

I'd probably stick that one under a grill.

I just ate part of a Cadbury "dairy milk" bar.

No offense but i'm with the kids. I HATE tuna and peas are a natural no no for me.

However. Today I had a *cough* 15 dollar chicken tender basket at six flags which really pisses me off because in the past the basket had 6 tenders, a ton of fries, and a really good southern style biscuit. Not worth 15 by any means, but it's six flags. This time is was 4 strips and like 10 fries. No biscuit.

Last night I made rotini with garlic bread.

Elvis_Christ 04-08-2012 06:51 PM

I never got what a biscuit was... so it's like a bread roll?
