Yeh? I thought that ending was predictable as fuck. All the Evil Dead homages/in jokes whatever you wanna call them got tiresome too.

I enjoyed it but found it to undeserving of the hype and praise lumped on it.

I guess from watching so many dvd extras you can tell where they cut scenes short.
I think the goat scene should have been lengthened where the goat is terrorizing the characters. It appeared like it was cut. PG13? hope its expanded on dvd

that was the worst part of the whole movie

It was SO predictable that I didn't think they would go through with it, which is why I enjoyed it so much I think. An ending doesn't have to surprise you to be good.

Exactly - I was laughing my ass off at the end, even if you could see it coming.

And let's be honest here...the end of EDII wasn't exactly a shocker either, but it's still one of the coolest endings in horror history. Not saying that this was on par, of course, but still.

Elvis_Christ 01-17-2010 09:15 PM

Well no and ending doesn't have to suprise you to be good. The key word is that is has to be good... that ending was weak and dragged the flick further into averageness. This one was just OK not the masterpiece a lot of people have made it out to be.

...and like I said earlier the Evil Dead homages were fucking LAME.
