First scen that disturbed me, I was probably around 10 back then, is in the beginning of F13 Part 2, when that chick gets stab on the side of the head with an ice pick by Jason. The thing about it was that he just pushed it in so slowly, it really freaked me out then.

Recently, in Exorcist 2000, the part of the spider walk was kinda disturbing.

Of course, Lats house on the left for mostly all of the movie, but isn't it what makes it such a great movie??

wait. I think maybe someone is talking about the short film written by Salvador Dali called "L'Age D'Or" and was released in 1930. It features many surrealist images (naturally) including a scene where a human eyeball (still in the living person's head) is sliced lengthwise. The scene, and the movie itself, was so reactionary that it caused a riot in the streets of Paris when it was released. And to me, it's still one of the hardest things to watch on film.

Another one i thought of this morning, When Edward Norton stomps the guy on the curb in American History X. I cringed, that was fucking awful.

"Put your mount on the fucking curb!" Ugh......

hellfire1 03-18-2004 04:57 AM

they don't actually show the stomping, but just that sound... i always look away and cover my ears... *cringes*

Vodstok 03-18-2004 05:22 AM

I know.... I was horrified the first time i saw it, and i had even had that part blown for me before.

Your sig reminded me of another couple of things:

Edward norton with lye on his hand in fight club

Edward norton beating blondie beyond recognition in the same movie. I admit, i kind of enjoyed seeing him beat the guy, but when you sdee him reach up to try and stop him, and he just bats his hand away and keeps beating... damn..

Oh yeah, and when he throws himself into the shelves, and crawls across the floor, and there are pieces of glass buried in his hand and wrist...

hellfire1 03-18-2004 06:21 AM

another scene i couldn't watch and still can't watch without sometimes looking away... i love how he just shrugs after he's finished beating the crap out of him. lol

Vodstok 03-18-2004 06:43 AM

Yeah, he looks around like "huh? what? Oh, right, people are watching.... Hmmm, oh well. I think i'll go for a walk."

God i love that movie.
