thats what I thought. But oh well. At the moment, I can't disprove him, so I'll accept his word as truth for now.

nothing to my knowledge was ever as massive. there were some dinosaurs that were longer, but i tthink as far as overall size, nothing beat the blue whale.

I have seen some good footage of gulper eels, just sitting with their huge mouths open in the dark, waiting for a wayward fish. They made good odds for themselves.
