At 128 movies, only the obvious made the cut. Of the rest, Unforgiven's the most likely to get added during the expansion

I was actually a bit dissapointed in Rashomon. I was expecting a top 10 movie, and it actually didn't even make my top 100.




But it's still Rashomon, so yeah, it made it.

I loved it, but even out of the few I listed it's not my favorite. I just think it's some amazing storytelling and at least deserves a listing.

while I'm going through movies, I'll post little stats about what I've got so far.

Most represented directors:
Martin Scorsese/Alfred Hitchockc: 6
Akira Kurosawa: 5
several have 2 or 3, including Darren Aronofsky, Yasujiro Ozu, Sergio Leone, Mel Brooks, Quenten Tarantino, and Kevin Smith

I had a list at least ten times longer than the one I posted swimming in my head but there are just so many movies and how good they are is so subjective. I'll be anxious to see the tournament, we should have a HDC top 100 films list heh.
