Maybe they put Jay-Z on the list because they heard he had 99 problems but a bitch wasn't 1. They probably just assumed he didn't like girls (Since they obviously have not listened to all of the music they list.)

Well, Freddy Mercury was gay too, but that doesn't neccesarily mean they are going to try to convert others to be gay as well.
