Did you read my previous post? I never said it was ok to call ANYONE names. BTW, my family history is that we are notherners, you know the folks that won the civil war that ended slavery. Keep your history and your comments correct please.
And who exactly are you "high fiving", your butt?

I did read your previous post, where you have said it would only have been funny if a black standup had called a white man "cracker ass" (with no historical repression implications), and how it should be the same as a white standup calling a black man "nigger" (a word which we all know the history of).
I think your suggestion that blacks should simply "get over" slavery and be more grateful to your family is rather flippant, particularly in this case when taunted so viciously with a barrage of specifically racial abuse connected to that issue. I'm sure the American blacks, the Holocaust Jews, the raped Bosnians are all trying to 'move on', but are you blind to the fact that rants of this nature - in this context becoming pure racial taunts - are disruptive to your 'getting over' process?
The comments from the black men regarding Richards being "washed up" and a "cracker ass" were only made after he started his racist tirade, and are certainly not relevant as any kind of defence for him. Frank McBride and Kyle Doss were merely talking and disrupting his act. You can judge for yourself how sincere Michael Richards' apologies were, or if he was attempting to dilute and share the issue in a desperate bid to rescue his career, in the Letterman link I provided.
Highfive!
