I saw The Beyond recently, and i really dont think it deserves a spot in the top 100, i found it pretty boring. other than the new york ripper, its probably fulci's lamest film (that i have seen) zombie, however, was definetly worthy of that list.

amen.

The last 30-odd minutes are the movie's saving grace.

Depends on my mood for the evening. Some nights, I might wanna hang with Reagan and the demon, sometimes I might wanna hang with Bela/Dracula, and sometimes I might wanna hang with Samara...it all depends. I can't put an order any more.

I agree, I did not like Wolf Creek -it did my meet my expectations basically. I wouldn't say it was terrible but... I think Saw I was great and was a bit disappointed with Saw II. As someone else said I didn't feel the suspense as I did with the first one. I hope Saw III will be better than II but I doubt it. All in all I think it's a great list, I haven't seen many all of em but I will start. Also, is Jacob's Ladder really considered horror??? I would say more of a Drama???

It scared me. There was more than enough of the macabre to make it viable horror, and Elizabeth Pena being humped to death by a giant mutant bat was pretty grisly.

Squish.

Jacob's Ladder is inducted into the horror genre just cuz of its atmospheric feel throughout the movie. Surreal, dark, creepy, intense and really wierd.

It was also pretty much the granddad of fast, twitchy movement.

I am proud to say I have seen all of the top 20! :D

Nice top 100 list. I got to go check out Cemetary Man though, it looks like a lot of fun.
