I'm sad to say that I haven't seen Dog Soldiers yet. Yes, I've seen The Howling, Amercian Werewolf in London, the original Werefolf movies, etc. But, I haven't gotten around to seeing Dog Soldiers yet. But, u know wat, I'll rent it 2morrow along with Hide & Seek. Now I feel a tiny bit better about not seeing it.
I HOPE THIS IS NOT TOO LATE! DONT RENT HIDE & SEEK!!!

Sorry, guys. I've been busy, and actually, I haven't been notified of any posts until this morning.

Seriously, a run-down of my schedule looks like The Amazing Race. On Thurs., I did the junket with Rob Zombie and co. (you'll see the interviews right here, real soon!), yesterday I wrote some reviews and articles for L'Ecran Fantastique magazine (parle vous français?), tomorrow I'm covering the Charlie and Chocolate Factory premiere (which you WON'T see here...), next week I have two set visits (one in Vancouver, one in Toronto), then it's full-on Comic-Con for four days straight.

So... that's why I can't/don't post much. But I did want to answer your questions.

Yep: My dad is a founding member of The Ventures. He's touring in Japan right now. Last year, they recorded an album with Billy Bob Thornton (see pic here: http://staciwilson.com/photos4.html scroll down a bit) at his house. Both my dad and Billy are as cool as you'd hope they are!

Ghost Movies Book: All kinds of ghost movies, from 1930 to the present (in chrono order). My favorite ghost movies are The Uninvited, The Innocents, The Shining, and The Devil's Backbone, but I am partial to the genre so there are a lot more that I love. As for terrifying... much as I love horror movies, they seldom actually scare me.

A looker? Thank god for PhotoShop. (And hey, anyone remember that Albert Finney movie, Looker? Michael Crichton directing…)

Does liking a director or celeb color my opinion? Yes, but never my review. In writing reviews of movies with people I like, I may be more diplomatic (particularly if I already know the "backstory" of making the movie) but I don't believe in compromising my opinion. My tastes may sometimes be a little off the beaten path, but they're mine and I take responsibility for them.

I think that was it... Hey, if any of you are going to be at Comic-Con and you see me and Enzo (dragging lots of camera equipment around) come on over and say "Hey"!

Later,
Staci

Too late, man! Way too late! By the way, I liked Hide & Seek. I mean, it was way better than any other horror movie that came out this year (besides Land of the Dead. That kicked ass!)
