I am not that big of a fan of The Shining either. I don't dislike it but I expected better from Kubrick to be honest. And I think Shelley Duvall is irritating as hell myself.:D Nicholson was good except for the fact that he played the character as a nut almost from the start, which didn't really work.

Keep in mind, I still think it is a good movie, just not a great movie.

I watched it a few months ago again, and didnt really like it, but theres this mock documentary on the no. 1 darko fan (in the bonus features) that is fucking priceless, its better than the film itself.

I liked the Shining a lot....the scene when shelly see's what jack's been writing...priceless.....

Seriously though, every high school to young college girl in America loves that movie... that and Boondock Saints.
