LE BLOB!!!

Vodstok 06-07-2005 08:45 AM

I had never given it much though before i searched on it, but to Americans, a "Gordita" is a tasty snack from Taco Bell. And while it is a dish in Mexico, it litterally means "fat chick". Just Imagine the pics that came up in google...

It still makes me shudder.

i have on tape somewhere a TV special on vampires - it may have been hosted by christopher lee ...

all i can remember is the guy doing a 'bit' about how badly vampires are trivialized in todays culture - and showed count chocula and count blood count (from sesame street) as examples ..

it was pretty funny

the Blob ..

the stuff was stupid ....

not one of michael moriarty's shining stars ..

'they call me Mo, cause i always want mo'

see larry Coen's 'Q' if you want to see Moriarty act his heart out ...

Cmon though. As bad as the movie was, moriarty was pretty damn good. I kept saying that through the whole thing. "This movie sucks. But godamn, that guy is good."

4-0

these things are kind of lopsided....

it's good for getting kids accustomed to horror, I would expect that would be pretty high on the list in your house, to get your kid interested....what with that extensive list of horror dvds you have.

i think kids (like adults) have a strong natural curiosity for things that scare them ..

i intend on keeping my kid away from it until he's 12 or 13.
he has his whole life to lose his innocence ....and be faced with death and horror every day ..

i want to make good and sure he understands the concepts of reality and grand scale right and wrong first too ...
