Kill Bill Vol.1 again..

Keeps coming on Encore(hence the name encore) and since I don't have any movies right now if there isn't anything better on I don't have any reason not to watch everytime.

Metropolis

Wow! Was this ever ahead of it's time! Dark and stylish futuristic silent film about two a city with two classes of citizen. The privelaged upper class that lives in the city and the workers that live several levels below the city. It's a bit slow but whta do you expect from a silent film. This one was made back in the 30s I think... Anyways, I really enjoyed it. It is now my top ranking silent film of all time. (Even though it's only the second one I've watched with a critical eye.)

Thirteen Ghosts Remake

This was the horror movie that got me into horrors three years ago. I bought it a few weeks ago and finally got around to watching it again. I still enjoy it, but barely. Sure, three years ago it seemed to me like the greatest movie ever made. Now, it's a timewaster. A lot of the characters are annoying (especially that little kid a.k.a. the little fucker), some pretty bland acting (except for Tony Shalhoub and Matthew Lillard), and this movie did give me a bad mindgrain. But, the reason I still enjoy it is because 1). The ghosts looked great, 2). It does have some cool "ghost chases", and 3). It was the horror movie that got me into horror movies. I'll give it 2 and a half stars out of 5.

Have you seen the House on Haunted Hill remake? I found them similar, but thought HoHH was MILES better. It's one of my absolute favourite movies, and probably my all-time favourite remake [Tie with The Fly]

Yeah, I've seen it. Wasn't bad, wasn't great either. I haven't seen it in awhile though, so I might rent it soon just to see what I think about it. I only remember some of it. But, from what I remember, it was a helluva lot better than Thirteen Ghosts.

Dont know if it's the same where you are, but it's always in the bargain bins around here. Best $7 Ive spent on my collection, let me tell you.

Oh, it's in all of the bargain bins around here too. I just haven't felt like cashing in on it because I'm not altogetherly sure if I'll still enjoy it. Like I said, I only remember a little bit of it, not all of it. I'll rent it, and if I like it, I'll probably end up buying it.
