Kung Fu Panda - looked like shit in the ads, turned out to be a very entertaining film .. great looking too. excellent voicework.

The Three Musketeers
(w/ michael york) - old favorite of mine. Oliver Reed is great in this one (as is everyone but he really stands out)

Me too.

Last watched: Jason X. I thought, "Hey let's watch this movie that everyone says is a big piece of hunking crap. It can't be all that bad and may even be fun." Oh, how I was mistaken...

Promising start which loses its way in the middle and gathers itself in the end.

his performance in Blade Trinity and Amityville Horror make me wanna hit him in the face.

The Happening

Shyamalan... I've tried to defend you again and again, but in two (maybe three) movies, you have managed to make me one of your detractors. For shame!

I'm not defending him - God knows, I hate him too - but you have to admit: both of those movies still would have sucked ass, even with a good actor instead of Reynolds.

yes, its true. it's partially the script that made me hate him so much in Trinity, but the delivery sucked too.

Not sure if you're as much of a comic book geek as I am, but did you hear about the Wolverine movie? He's playing Deadpool - blechh :(

I'm not even all that attached to the character. I mean, he's cool and all but he's really just another assassin in a sweet costume.....I'm just pissed that Reynolds is having anything to do with that movie.

Amazing movie. I don't know many people who would say Matthew Lillard counts in a great cast other than... myself? It really never gets boring though. I need to buy that one.

Ryan Reynolds was the best part of both those bad movies.

Dawn of the Dead remake

I have to say it was pretty decent for a remake, not the best but still not to bad at all

Geddy 06-16-2008 04:35 AM

Mad Max....

hammerfan 06-16-2008 05:07 AM

The Happening

I was very disappointed. First, in about a dozen shots you could see the mic/boom which totally destroyed the experience for me. Second, I HATED the ending.

You know, after having a long discussion about it with the bf, I'm starting to come around. I think it requires another viewing. I retract my initial reaction and my stance is now "undecided if I think it it sucks or not". :p
