Ya, it's a prequel to Alien, directed by Ridley Scott. It's a big budget sci-fi. I thought it was good, but it's certainly a left-turn from Alien. That freaked a ton of Alien fans.

The real question is: is it better than sequels 3 and 4?

I liked it better than Alien 3. About the as much as Alien 4.

From the trailers and teasers, Covenant certainly looks promising. Much better than Prometheus, which left a lot of fans confused.
