Ahh, yes. I recall the "deep-dish pizzas," as they were known, being popular in the mid-to-late 70's. Those darn things were tasty! Conjures memories of pizza parlors with pinball machines and early video games. Insert quarter!

I've had those things! They are really tasty...a bright, happy flavor.

fried potatoes and some pasta shells in this galic parmesan sauce stuff

my fried potatoes totally own so i was pretty happy about finally getting to eat.

Some Taco Bell and a Sprite.

I had some left over spaghetti for breakfast today, it doesn't matter what time it is when it comes to spaghetti.

I had some lentil shepards pie and freshly poded peas.

Ah, got hold of some garlic chicken pizza, a frozen type, it's half decent. I just turned the AIR CONDITIONING on too, I had been saving it for a warm day (expensive to run!) and this is a warm day!

How warm is a warm day, I don't know anymore???


For me at the moment a warm day is not having to put the heating on when I get up and I think it's ment to be summer...

Turned out very nice too.
Wrong sized tin and the pastry needs just a TAD of work (actually, it was fine...we just did it on the night is all...these things happen better over time), but...the things STOOD after we took them out, at just over 2 inches tall.
Cooked the sauce for about 2 hours from scratch, really nice merlot and roma tomato based. Fresh basil and oregano, grilled garlic and capsicum...tasty...
Made a bechamel for one of the two pizzas.
Lots of mushroom, yellow capsicum, onion, and of course predominately "filled" with premium grade minced beef that we also pre-seasoned.
Slow cooked 'em for about another hour and a bit.
All I can say is, myself and those with me had 2 "slices" of each, and it was game over. Definately not an all the time thing.
Definately good though.

French vanilla cappucino, and a honey criller.

homemade pumpkin soup and pad thai.. some cola to wash it down and I am pretty , pretty, pretty damn full.

Omigod, pumpkin. I am obsessed with pumpkin, most of the time they are not available so it's impossible to cook with them. But last year I bought some baking pumpkins and did pumpkin stir-fry for a while, that was goooooooood, so much fun.

Some crackers and a Powerade.

Root beer, and an episode of Thunderbirds.

a fish finger sandwich and some choc chip cookies.

a hot Dog and some Newcastle dark ale.

A hamburger.

Chicken Parm with spagetti washed down with water.

Egg plant baked with parmesan cheese.

deep fried mars bar and a glass of cream soda.

Turkey pot pie

Smoked salmon spinach and riccota pie with lime potato salad... followed by some bannana bread.

Laksa.................

Garden fresh salad

cold piece of chicken and glass of coke

Pad thai with baby suid and fried tofu. And some coconut juice.

smoked salmon and lentils on toast with a cup of tea.

Pasta with a spicy sauce.

Wheat cereal and coffee.

A jubbly Ice lolly.

Home baked fish pie.

I keep cutting the tops off the iced buns and eating that .smeared with butter
and jam.
oh and many glasses of iced water.

We have been eating healthy foods all summer...

Tonight I just didn't feel like grilling fish with steam veggies and wild rice, so I went out and bought 2 pizzas, chicken wings, a bag of chips and a 6 pack of root beer pop.

I think our bodies will go into shock:D
