All Hallows Eve 2, 2015. 7/10

8 short stories that were ok to excellent and then the wraparound story. I really liked the one about the man with unique Halloween decorations, Halloween after the apocalypse and the FaceBook~esque Spanish short.

Cool masks but nothing new here. This movie reminds me of 'Torment'. The ending was horrible.

Green Inferno

I was anticipating intense. It wasn't. It's very watchable and we had fun with a pretty involved crowd, but it didn't pack the punch I was expecting. It's a rare film that I say would benefit from being a found footage flick, but Green Inferno is one movie that would have amped up the emotion if we could be more immersed in the drama. Anyway, I liked it. I got a few " whoa" moments out of it and some laughs as well.

Overall it's entertaining stuff!

Arg! I really do not like going to the movies by myself, but I want to see it.

Thir13en Ghosts
Tomb of the Werewolf - aka lesbian porn, Paul really should've stopped at 11 with the Waldemar Daninsky series...
Puppet Master - I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would
Puppet Master 2 - second was also enjoyable

I watched The Lords of Salem again last night. It's typical that Rob Zombies' movies polarize horror fans and this one is no exception. I think its an atmospheric, visual treat.

Freddy Vs Jason
5/10

It's better than I expected. I think it goes the right places, and hits the right bells, follows the right rules, looked pretty good and had some fun. It really follows the humor and cartoonishness of the latter Freddy/Nightmare on Elm Street films. Fans of either franchise would like this.

It lacked deeper creativity, plot depth, character development, scariness and mood.

Year One (2009)
Less worse than I expected. Not great but a couple of good jokes and a decent cast. Kind of a B/C version of History Of The World Part 1.
