Revolution...this show reminds me a lot of Jericho.

Watched the season premiere of Castle on my lunch hour.

Tried watching the first episode last night - Ugh - It's the kind of thing that I really should've liked but the writing was just so awful.

What did you think?

...

Been watching back-to-back episodes of The Wire courtesy of HBO Go (my first time around).

Utterly brilliant crime-drama (only classifying that because it's the best genre description I can think of)... Great writing, awesome acting - It's one of those rare shows that you just want to keep watching and watching...

I admit I find the writing and some of the story a bit "far fetched" but it's the kind of thing I'll watch just because there isn't anything on Network TV anymore that I can watch, other than Grimm.

I'm going to watch it until we find out a little bit more on what/why the power went out. (That part of it has my interest). The answer to which will probably determine how long I continue to keep watching.

I don't know if you ever saw Jericho, but Revolution really reminds me of a "Poor man's" Jericho (which I thought had excellent writing). The world altering event, the Militia and military groups, not knowing about the rest of the world, the feeling that there is something bigger going on behind the scenes, etc.

It has that feel, which I like, so it has my interest, but it also has a less talented cast, and a less talented writing staff so I'm still sitting on the edge with this one.

Never got around to Jerico but the fiancé really liked it. I told him that you called Revolution "Poor Man's Jerico" and he totally agreed and tipped his hat to you. :D

Yeah that was one of the better ones in this season. I really like the Weeping Angels, I hope they bring them back for a good episode, and don't just bring them back for lack of a better idea. I'm don't believe this is the case, as they have an amazing team of writers, but I guess we will see.

I know what you mean but on the evidence of Asylum Of The Daleks (managed to bring inventiveness back to another old foe) I have faith that they won't be there just for the sake of it. Fingers crossed can't wait for saturday!

Haven:Great start to the new season. This looks like it might be the best one yet.

Castle:A good episode and i'm glad they're not gonna use the Castle/Beckett relationship as a crutch

How I Met Your Mother

Hell on Wheels

Oh, Man, I REALLY want to see Haven... Need to start from the beginning though. Heard nothing but good things about that one.
