Diary of the Dead
I enjoyed it. |
Teeth
Still don't know what to make of it. Jess Weixler is great though and pretty much carries the film. |

"Teeth" 5/10
The "kills" were amusing. Too bad the rest of the movie wasn't. |
"Strange wilderness" 4/10
On IMDB there was some dude describing this movie as "Worst-Best movie of the century". He must've been high while watching it and while writing that comment.. Sooo not funny, except for the "muah ha ha ha" over the repeated shark footage. |
"The greatest game ever played" 5-6/10
Forgettable. |
Candyman (1992)
|
Black Sheep (2006)
Day of the Dead (1985) Land of the Dead (2005) All today with the commentaries on. No; I don't sit around all day and watch movies. I do however have ten aquariums I need to clean once a week. Rather then listen to music I listen to commentaries. While I do enjoy Black Sheep and Day of the Dead I have to admit I'm not much into Land of the Dead but I have already listened to the commentaries for the other Dead movies. |
Black Sabbath (1964)
This is really what horror is all about. |
Ex-Drummer
Offbeat, crazy... has to be seen to be believed. Can't recommend it enough. I will be checking this one out again for sure! Best foreign film I've seen in years. A true cinematic experience turn it up loud as fuck and blow your mind 666 outta 10. |

the drop of water is my favorite segment. when that dead woman is floating across the floor...plus the colors are so rich and the composition is incredible. great stuff. |
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
There's lots being said about this film both good and bad from about every media outlet you can imagine. I'm not going to bore you with the same hackneyed speeches and reviews you can get everywhere else. I will say that while this one does have flaws it's STILL an Indiana Jones adventure and I had a smile on my face almost all of the way through it. |
Lucio Fulci's Aenigma. It's good and full of gore, but the story is confusing.

A Blade in the Dark.
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA240_.jpg Early 80s giallo from Lamberto Bava. Has its fair share of flaws and red herrings, but a more than decent effort. Neat kills (not many but the few which are in are superb), chilling score and good direction and characterisation. The two things which are a setback - the pacing and the length (needed better editing work), and the score towards the end, which was rather obnoxious. A must-see for any giallo fan. I recommend it. Rating - * * * ½ |
Doom.
I still enjoyed it. And i stilldont know why the fuck they didnt just stick to the original story. its not like id wasnt behind them with it, the fucking movie looks like Doom 3 down to the last detail (even the bathroom). just stupid. |

i didnt like it until the last 1st person shooter bit at the end. huge waste of the Rock. i did like the obnoxious guy though.. (that got killed in the bathroom) |
Atonement
This was nominated for best picture? Yes, the acting is solid, the costuming is great, the cinematography and camera are fantastic, the sets and art direction are epic and beautiful. but... I don't buy it. Not one beat. NO ONE would behave as these characters do. The devices that move the plot forward are ridiculous in the extreme. Add to this the constant flashbacks that completely destroy all sense of flow and you get a poorly paced, poorly written adaptation of a novel about the misdeeds of a young girl written by an old man who clearly neither empathises with nor seems to even care for his characters. The story tries (and fails) to be clever. Oh and the fucking title of the film is Atonement... which the young girl never once comes close to acheiving, but still proudly declares that she has. 4/10 |

Red Eye- 7.5/10
P2- 6/10 Diary of the Dead- 5/10 ^Not impressed at all. |
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull- 7.5/10
It was fun! It was very fun. I actually liked Shia Laboeuf's character in this one, which is a first. It had a bunch of throwbacks to the originals, and some of the scenes were laugh out loud funny. The action was very spectacular, in the style of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, the goofy yet violent style. My only beef with this movie is the ending. It kinda kills it. Too sudden. There's a part near the end where things get a bit ridiculous, but it's still "ok." Definitely worth a trip to the theater. You won't be bored. |

Cloverfield.
Much better than Blair Witch. This is what a reality horror film is about. |

"Flight Of The Living Dead"
You know...for a no budget horror film, this was actually a pretty entertaining movie. Not great, but fun. |
In the Line of fire
Clint was seaming more senile in this than he does of late. My first time viewing on on an entertainment scale, trying to forget the badly executed romance in it.. 6/10 |
