Odd, I see it??

Anyways, it's Texas Rising. It's actually a mini-series that the History channel put out.

Exeter 2015

3/10 D+

Exeter is a trainwreck... like a real one, not the metaphor.

Exeter is a movie-screen wildly stoned with horror clichés. Motivations, logic & story are thrown out -- it's simply fast-paced, very fast-paced. So fast-paced as to almost be a new genre, but not quite.

There's average gore, violence, swearing, jokes, but it's so fast & without sufficient framework & footing, it all seems slung from your blindspot, where one might just feel assaulted.

It's lack of logical story & gore/violence is common to a Lucio Fulci, but none of the art. Fast-paced violence like slapstick horror Peter Jackson, but no fun.

I hope this review does not pique your interest in seeing this film; unless you like that kind of stuff.

Yup, my thoughts exactly!!

It will likely underwhelm horror fans due to bloated expectations, built up over its circuitous, two-year release, and will simply not be understood by critics who don't value exploitation cinema, but, despite the unstellar acting, annoying characters and predictable story arc, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the first true jungle cannibal film made in 30 years. The shock value doesn't come close to the Italian classics, but it still delivers more gore than you should ever expect to see at the strip mall theater down your street. And it has one thing those films never had: a sense of humor. Not recommended for movie critics, but a must-see for those who already know they must see it, and possibly interesting enough for the unsuspecting horror or adventure fan.

8/10

I can't wait to see it!!!!!

For some reason I didn't mind this one.
Surely it wasn't great but at least it wasn't boring.

Pin Up Dolls on Ice, 2014. 8/10

Thumb resize.

Brutal as fuck killer. He has an obsession with..ice! He invades this campground where these girls were hired to dance sing and strip. Well you know how it goes in a campground setting. The kills were bloody, brutal and I loved it! No CGI that I could see but in some scenes the beatings were a bit off screen but they redeemed themselves with a bloody aftermath..whew! I wanna see more of this brutal fuck! Moe!

I know what you mean. It was so fast paced, i only fast forwarded to the end after watching some 70% of it. But even fast paced regurgitated horror still gets boring -- to me anyway.

Personally, I always hated illogic in horror. I get bored with the same old rides, too. This was both.
