Here wolf, there wolf, everywerewolf, wolf!

Thank you, thank very much. I'll be here all week.

Angra 05-18-2007 03:07 AM

Jim Carrey, of course.

Wensday13 05-18-2007 03:39 AM

Errrrr, lesser of two evils here :D

Ill have to say Im slightly less aggervated by the Bill and Ted movies. That and they had George Carlin.

So yeah, Bill and Ted.

DP McCoy 05-18-2007 03:50 AM

Ace Ventura.

_____V_____ 05-18-2007 07:10 AM

Ace Ventura(s) lead 2-1 over Bill & Ted's 2 adventures!!

more votes needed in here...

neverending 05-18-2007 07:16 AM

I simply can't stand Jim Carrey, and Ace Ventura is one of the most moronic of his lot.

Bill & Ted for me.

paws the great 05-18-2007 07:30 AM

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adenture/Journey

stubbornforgey 05-18-2007 07:34 AM

jim carey is about as funny as a toothache

_____V_____ 05-18-2007 08:11 AM

Bill & Ted's 2 adventures jump back and lead 4-2 over Ace Ventura(s)!!

more votes needed in here...

The Mothman 05-18-2007 08:14 AM

Ace Ventura.

bloody_ribcut 05-18-2007 08:24 AM

i like jim carrey, his in living color work is great.

ace ventura

Doc Faustus 05-18-2007 08:35 AM

Quoting to Kansas to Socrates is pretty damn funny, actually, as is unleashing history on an unsuspecting mall. I think Bill and Ted are funnier.

jenna26 05-18-2007 09:13 AM

Bil and Ted, the first is a guilty pleasure of mine, I admit. I also admit that while I do like Jim Carey , I simply can't stand Ace Ventura.....

_____V_____ 05-18-2007 09:42 AM

I have to agree with Jenna. As much as I love The Truman Show and Liar, Liar...Ace Ventura has been Carrey's most annoying characterisation on-screen.

Bill & Ted's Adventures fight off a late challenge from Ace Ventura and prevail 6-4 to move into the next round!!

That completes Round 2 for Part I: Duologies.

Round 2 for Part II: Trilogies starts...and I have a feeling this is going to result in a lot of huge upsets...

Though I know nothing about the Sympathy films I'm voting AGAINST Carpenter. (Putting on a suit of armor as protection against attack)

The Mothman 05-18-2007 10:09 AM

i dont see how carpenter's films are a series, but they get my vote.

Angra 05-18-2007 10:14 AM

I loved Oldboy.

But i AM a horrorfan.

HaHa...Actually, it was more like, I thought to myself "Hey, I have all 3 of those...But, I had no idea they went together somehow" :)

jenna26 05-18-2007 10:43 AM

WHY did you do this to me? :p I almost sat this one out but OKAY I will go with Carpenter.....though it must be said, I only saw Oldboy pretty recently and it was one of the best films I had seen it awhile and I love it.

This question wasnt asked in Round 1 when the Apocalypse trilogy beat the Scarecrow trilogy...but maybe it skipped everyone's mind then...

Anyway, to clear it up, if any of you possess the Director's commentary/interview disks of any/all 3 of the movies, you ll notice that John Carpenter mentions these 3 movies as a part of his official Apocalypse trilogy...sort of thematic trilogy which is a collective set of work. There are no recurring characters or official ties between the 3 movies, other than that all 3 movies share many of the same elements in their respective 3 endings.

Same goes for the Revenge/Vengeance trilogy, as Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy & Lady Vengeance run on the same parallel story-lines to be included together as a official group of collective work by the director, Park Chan Wook.

The Carpenter Apocalypse trilogy breezes to an easy 7-1 win over the asian Vengeance/ Revenge trilogy!!

next match up in a sec...

He could point a rocket launcher at his ass then pull the trigger and scream.

"Yippe Kia Motherfucker!"
