I got a signed copy(VHS) by the man himself.Without a doubt one of the coolest "behind the scenes" documentaries to date.

It's a shame Fangoria did'nt make more(other FX artists),Satanism and Witchcraft is the only other one I believe.

Holy shit thats a pretty awesome thing to own dude. I'm about to give the fucker a spin seems like it'd be a good insight to my favorite era of horror. Scream Greats was the tape where the cut scenes of Maniac were shown (and of course dubbed into the cut versions of the film back in the 80s over here). PAL versions of "Video Nasties" are something I get really enjoy collecting because a lot of that shit was destroyed over here and Australia of of course the prudes that set the ball rolling in the UK.

And picked up the following for dirt at Walmart. They mistag everything.

The Blair Witch Project - 0.99
I Know What You Did Last Summer &
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer - 1.98 for both.

Best 3.00 I've ever spent. Considering this is Canada are movies are usually NOT this cheap. At all.

Was Blair Witch on VHS? If so, I got it awhile back for the same price. If not...thats awesome.

joshaube 04-29-2006 06:14 PM

Yeah, it was. It's an addition to my poor VHS collection collecting dust in the linen closet. It's pretty bad when I don't even have a VCR hooked up, hehe.

I haven't seen the remake of Planet of the Apes. I have the remake of Solaris on DVD. I can't give you an objective opinion, Return. I'm a big George Clooney fan, so there's no objectivity here.

Jacob Singer 05-02-2006 12:52 PM

Planet of the apes (Tim Burton's remake) is a big peace of crap, so I wish that you enjoy Solaris (I've don't have see it so I can't tell you if it's good or bad)

I saw PotA when it first came out and enjoyed it then...Ive been wanting to see it again, plus Im a HUGE Burton fan.

Jacob Singer 05-02-2006 01:57 PM

OK in that way enjoy it, I think that it's (along with Big Fish) the worst film that he had made...but you know I'm not a great fan of Tim Burton's work

That seals it, I'll probably like it. Personally, I think Big Fish is among Burton's best.

Oh, and I just read the plot to Solaris again...it almost sounds like a layman's 2001. Im actually kind of excited about watching it, sounds like my style.
