I really liked Carey's early work, songs like Emotions, Someday and Vision of Love.

My guilty pleasure is Olivia Newton-John. I mean forever, not particularly for Christmas, though she does have two Christmas albums, but hasn't belted the O Holy Night. I have a soft spot for some Madonna songs too. Interesting she's never done a Christmas album, just Santa Baby.

Speaking of... as you'd expect, Pentatonix does a drilling of Carol of the Bells.

Do you remember Friday Night Videos from TV? 'Thriller' debuted on that. I remember enjoying watching cool music videos... I wonder if there's a venue that still does that?

I do remember! Thriller remains my favorite music video. MTV really needs to change their name since they don't play music videos anymore.
