Watch ever single f13 and NOES movie, and look at who it is that usually takes down Freddy or Jason.
Most of the time, some teenager on the verge of freaking out...right?
Now look at Ash, consider the things he's been through....the guys half-crazy already, pretty damn resourcefull, and has a real hard-on for taking out evil...not to mention the fact that he usually arms himself quite well...

I agree, Bruce could still be Ash, for sure, and I bet he wouldn't look half as "old" as Arnie has in his last few outings, besides...I think an older Ash would look kinda cool...

I have heard some rumors that Sean William Scott (stifler from American Pie ) will play Ash.

But rumors are as useful as a broken light bulb so I don't know.

I think that Sean William Scott isn't THAT well suited...I mean, he could be in horror for sure, just not AS Ash.

If they HAVE to put on somebody as a NEW, younger Ash, I'd go with either
Nicholas Brendon from Buffy, who could probably pull off the one-liners, and was always the good underdog type guy...

or

Not sure of the guys name, but there was one dude in the crappy p.o.s semi-horror movie called "Legion of the dead" that I thought actually looked like a younger version of Bruce, similar mannerisms too...
Either way, the guy that plays the lead.
