As I've said many times...my oldest son manages a video store [ yeah lucky me...now if I can get one to manage a liquor store...I'll be all set ] and he told me that corporate wants him to destroy all of the HD DVDs. [ seeing that Blue-Ray won the battle ] So I tell him...Don't you Dare.....bring them TO ME. I don't have a HD player but hell...they will play just fine on my regular player.

I'll buy whatever you dont want !!

(not all of them are combo discs)

Haven't watched any yet, but reviews say the transfer quality is generally poor, there are cut scenes, etc... so I wouldn't bother with it. Just amazed somebody sent it to me out of the clear blue.

EDIT: I checked out several of the movies on my computer (I don't have a DVD player) and the picture quality was fine, IMO. You can't expect them to have the same quality as a brand new movie- some of these are quite old. I remember White Zombie picture being really bad the first time I saw it, and this transfer is much better, so it might be worth picking up if you aren't a stickler for really great digital quality, and there are NO EXTRAS. The price is really cheap though, so it might be worth it for you.

Fantastic set man - I recommend it constantly. Some real classics and a bunch of hidden gems. Enjoy yourself :)

As for me:

- Citizen Kane (2-Disc)
- A Clockwork Orange (2-Disc)
- Following

Figured it was time to grab some classics...and I was PUMPED to find Following. I now own all of Nolan's movies (except for Dark Knight, of course - but it wont be long!)
