OK, this is getting a little rediculous. The Nightmare Before Christmas is NOT a classic.

None of those are classics in the sence of this forum....

Equilibrium. Interesting dystopian film. The visuals in this one were outstanding, especially the gunfights. Overall: 6/10

Wicker Man (again)

Well I wasnt really a fan of this film to begin with but it was on IFC the other day and my fiance hadn't seen it yet so I ended up watching it again. For some reason the weirdness of all their naked dancing and such struck me more funny than odd this time around. The only problem is that this isn't one of those films you are supposed to laugh at. The acting is good, the story is unique, but the gore is non-existent. The last 5-10 minutes are pretty awesome though...

I don't recall what grade I gave it the first time around, but I'd put it in the C+ range after a second viewing.

It is somewhat similar to the Matrix, particularly in the action scenes, but it's different enough to escape the "clone" category. It's not an Asian film though. There may be another version, but the one I saw starred Christian Bale.

Equilibrium? ye it is starrin by Christian Bale. It's not a great movie but if you like accion , give it a chance....awesome gunfights

slasherman 10-31-2005 12:25 PM
