Saw IV - What I expected. I'm a fan of the series so whatever.

Incubus - Shit. Tara Reid has to be the worst mainstream actress ever.

It's just one of those that you can see literally over and over, and it not lose even an ounce of brilliance.

Hard Candy- 8.5/10

2nd viewing. Incredibly fucked up. That's a work of art right there.

Psycom5k 03-20-2008 08:18 PM

I'm watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for the third time today. Don't ask me why, but I just keep rewatching it.

really fun and totally underrated.
i had a great time watching this one.

The Fountain

Interesting. I don't recommend watching it if you're tired. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was a movie that you really had to pay attention to because it kept flipping back and forth. *shrug* Could just be my dumb brain.

Watched the original Halloween last night. LOL THIS MOVIE IS SO FUNNY you guys should really check it out! Omg... lol... I dun even know what to say. Just pure cheese, really good if you like movies that are unintentionally funny.

Watched The Thing after that and it put me to sleep... wow John Captern really can't direct no wonder he hasn't done anything lately but that lame tv episode last year... that cigarette thing... which sucked but not as much as the thing. I got it on HD so i could see all the errors they made in even better quality LOL... really poor attempt at filmmaking and very amateur.

Oh, and... Ellen Page.

This was a joke post, if you didn't get that. :p

Rambo

So it was pretty gory for an action movie of late, so what, it wasn't that good...

I still prefer First Blood pt 2.

I hope Stallone got what he wanted out of this so that we can now go back to life with out him.

5/10

Going To Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film
It was Killer(no pun intended)....A Starz Films Documentary about 80's Slasher Films. It has interviews with JC, Wes Craven, and Tom Savini just to name a few. This film covers it all. A must see for any horror freak here @ HDC!!!!
Btw- You don't need Starz. I rented it @ Blockbuster.

Audition- 5/10

I wasn't impressed, to say the least. I don't know what the hype was about. It wasn't even very graphic. Not psychological either... I found it weak.

Hmmm that's interesting.

I admit that the film starts out slow but the last 20 minutes or so was worth it for me.

I read in an interview that he plans not to ever make another Rambo film, he feels the series is over.

Maybe but...

"Stallone back in action with 2-film deal

Boxoffice comeback champ Sylvester Stallone has inked a lucrative deal to direct and star in two action films with "Rambo" producers Danny Dimbort,

Several scripts are being considered for follow-ups to his surprise hit sequels to "First Blood" and "Rocky." With Nu Image/Millennium's new Writers Guild of America interim deal speeding up the process, the first script is expected to be ready by the fall, with production set to begin shortly thereafter.

"The past year and a half of working with Avi, his partners Danny and Trevor and his film family has been nothing but a high point for me and my career and an extremely rewarding experience," Stallone said. "Avi is a real gentleman and a man of his word."

Stallone will produce the films with Kevin King-Templeton and Lerner. Dimbort, Short and Boaz Davidson will serve as executive producers.

It's a deal few would have expected just a few years ago, when Stallone followed up his role in "Spy Kids 3D: Game Over" with a failed network boxing reality TV series, "The Contender." But in 2006, Stallone wrote, directed and starred in "Rocky Balboa," the sixth "Rocky" film, 16 years after the previous sequel in the franchise. The MGM release grossed $70 million on an estimated $24 million budget.

The second part of Stallone's one-two punch came with the current release "Rambo," which he also stars in, wrote and directed. The film, distributed by Lionsgate, made $18.2 million in its opening weekend and earned an estimated $25 million in its first 10 days of release.

Yep. Horrifying.
The reason it's so shocking is because we spend an hour-and-a-half getting to know our protagonist and realizing that he's just an all-around great, selfless guy. And then we watch him get sliced, diced, spliced, etc.

The only downside to the movie is(for me) the son is really......slow.....

In the most random and scattered way. The torture scene is more flashbacks and confusion than anything else. It's really not that fantastic. Bad? Not at all. Thrilling? Not at all.

Bah, then you would complain that it was too unrealistic. :p
The order of quality for me...

First Blood
Rambo
First Blood Part 2: Rambo
Rambo 2

The AVGN needs to update his rant on these titles...

The Ellen Page thing gave it away. Nobody pays attention to detail.

Anyway, just watched The Lookout again. Really good movie.
