SHOCKING DEVELOPMENT!!!


***(BATTLE ROYALE II - SPYCAM #23 FOOTAGE - 0846 HRS TO 0927 HRS)***

Bright sunlight floods the Nightmares' compound. Most of them are lazing around, except for Milktoaste who is getting treated by Posher.

Inside, Disease and Bwind stand guard in front of Neverending's bunker. Neverending is seemingly asleep, either tired from the aches of his numerous wounds which are healing slowly, or tired from doing something else.

Zoom out. THREE figures draped in white enter the compound from the left. They stealthily creep past a yawning Posher and a half-dreamy Milktoaste inside. Almost immediately, they crouch down and peer forward at Disease and Bwind. They then look at each other.

The one in the middle nods to the other two, and they nod back. Both of them move quietly on left and right respectively, out of sight of Disease and Bwind. Disease suppresses a yawn and dozes off, while Bwind is reading a book. The figure on the left creeps forward and circles behind Disease, while the other figure on the right does the same and gets behind Bwind. They both nod at each other and strike almost instantly.

THWACK!!

THUMP!!

Both Disease and Bwind never had a chance to know what hit them. With a slow moan, both of them slide to the floor, unconscious.

The third figure hurries forward, making no sound. All three figures stand around Neverending's bunker, and one of them walks over to where his legs lay. The other stands near his face, ready to clamp his mouth shut. The third figure slowly takes out something shiny from inside the robes.

All three look at each other again, poised for action. They simultaneously nod, and then spring into action.

The one standing near NE's face grabs his head and clamps his mouth shut with one hand, while the one standing near NE's legs grabs them tight, not letting NE move an inch. NE wakes up instantly and tries to yell, but only a muffled moan escapes through the fingers of the first figure's hand, which is around his mouth. He tries to fight them off but being already weak, is soon pinned down.

The third figure looks grimly at the struggling NE, and lifts a hand high. Something wicked and shining is revealed in the hand, which comes down in a huge rush.

SCRUNCH!!!

The dull blade of the knife plunges deep into NE's chest, and he lets out a cough. Just then, Rayne and Austin enter from the right and suddenly stop, frozen for an instant. The three figures throw an alarming look at them and dash towards the doors. Before Rayne and Austin could recover, the figures are already out. Posher jerks himself up but one of the figures hits him hard across his face and he falls down. Milktoaste never gets the chance to do anything - the figures have jumped over the wall and have disappeared from sight.

NE groans in pain, SLIGHTLY WOUNDED. Rayne and Austin look at each other. Rayne nods quietly to Austin, and both of them walk forward towards NE.

Nope. ;)

So how are these people getting shanked during challenges? Is it from the secret weapons?

Not surprised at all...
