Full of THE most amazing visuals I ever saw in a movie. The true inspiration for Argento, IMO.

Juno- 9/10

Freak 03-05-2008 03:27 PM

Rambo 9/10

A lot better than I expected.Full of action and buckets of blood and guts.

Juno 5/10

It was alright but I dont see what all the hype is about. It wasn't that great.

jenna26 03-05-2008 04:55 PM

Season of the Hunted ~ terrible....and worse than that, boring as hell.

Posher778 03-05-2008 04:56 PM

No Country For Old Men- 9/10

Wouldv'e been 10/10 but (although absolutely amazing and nothing short of brilliant) I really don't like anticlimaxes. Otherwise..... wow.

colubrid660 03-05-2008 05:50 PM

"eXistenZ". Great movie, classic Cronenberg.

I love eXistenZ too.

Sick_As_Fuck 03-05-2008 07:05 PM

Disturbia - Typical made-for-teens PG-13 "horror" movie. And Shia Lebouf has to be the corniest actor ever.

Vacancy - Not as bad as I expected, actually, save for Owen Wilson. And they should've left him dead.

The Dark - Really enjoyed this one. Loved the ending, too.

300 - Absolutely Amazing. Nothing else needs to be said.

AUSTIN316426808 03-05-2008 07:20 PM

The Simpsons Movie

Didn't quite meet expectations, thought it was pretty good though. 7/10

I'd seen it once before. I think it's my favorite Godard film- I love it. It works on both satirically and seriously.

Geddy 03-06-2008 02:31 AM

American Pie.

Posher778 03-06-2008 03:47 AM

Planet Terror (again)- 9.5/10 (Just because the last 15 or so minutes is amazing. Not to mention it has one of the better cinematic endings i've ever seen.

Disease 03-06-2008 04:54 AM

Bride of Chucky

7/10

joshaube 03-06-2008 07:19 AM

Thelma and Louise

The Mothman 03-06-2008 07:59 AM

lets see, what i have i seen scine i last visisted this.

The Prestige-
liked it a lot. Christian Bale is the man. awesome ending.
Funny Games
was kinda good, but there were some aspects that ruined the film.
i know i missing a whole bunch.

They Call Me Bruce?

Not bad, some will like the jokes and the others will groan their way through.

Elvis_Christ 03-06-2008 01:31 PM

Another 48 Hrs

Pretty decent. Andrew Divoff is geat as the villian and its always cool to see Brion James (RIP brother) in action but you can't beat the original.

Phalanx 03-06-2008 02:33 PM

I saw "Enchanted" a while back...which I thought would be more of a pisstake, but hey, in the end just another Disney movie with a twist, and a bit more "funny" thrown in...the rodent assistants were funny...

Saw "I am Legend" also, which was quite ok, but the original graphic novel WAS better, and I think this movie strayed a little far from it...Nice moody atmosphere.

JOHN RAMBO was next...and, for what it was (a killfest with all of 5 minutes of dialogue) it was pretty fun. Although I'm getting a bit pissed off with all the over-cg'd shit I'm seeing these days, and this film was ALL cg...no squibs...at all?
I understand SOME digital work, but in all honesty it made this film look more like a cartoon.
That said, I'm sure it would be the best drunk movie ever.

ALPHA DOG - Not bad, not great, pretty fucked up.

FAMILY GUY - BLUE HARVEST, well, more an elongated episode than a movie, but I wanted to say how much great fun this was...I downloaded it, but I'm definitely buying it. Some great SW and p.c references, plenty of stupid, plenty piss-takes. Yet retains the general SW feel/storyline.
I liked this a LOT.

Run FatBoy Run
Pretty funny in parts, not bad for a dramedy made by David Schwimmer - I mean, it's definately better than you'd expect outta him...not Peggs best, and not to be confused with works by Edgar Wright - this is a far cry from those...but, it was some light entertainment with some pretty funny scenes here'n there.
Might wanna wait for a video release though.

Galaxy Quest

Great movie with a great cast.

Michael Clayton. Awesome movie. Made "You are fucked" one of my new favorite lines :)

joshaube 03-06-2008 05:02 PM

Psycho II
Y'know what... this was actually really good. A well-crafted who-dunnit with many twists and turns, and a surprise ending to boot. Mix in a tad of irony in the final scenes. A great follow-up to the original, that doesn't match it, but pays a nice homage instead.

Posher778 03-06-2008 06:17 PM

Double Jeopardy- 9/10

This is one of the most underrated films of all time. Easily. Great suspense and acting, and a really good story.

newb 03-06-2008 06:20 PM

Lets Scare Jessica to Death

Haven't seen this one in many many years......wasn't as good as I remember...very vague in its execution. Still not a bad watch.

If anyone has cable with "on demand" check out the"fearnet" channel on the freezone stations. Gonna watch De Palma's "Body Double" in a few minutes.

AUSTIN316426808 03-06-2008 06:53 PM

Failure to Launch - Another one that's not really good or all that bad.

Return of the Living Dead

I'm always checking this out, new movies come out on fridays...watched Bruiser which i thought was pretty good and also watched Ripper

Cinestro 03-07-2008 11:49 AM

I am going to have to check out "fearnet"! Didn'a even realize it was there.

Recently watched -

Shrooms
Windchill
Sorority House Massacre
Sleepover Nightmare

beckylouise2904 03-07-2008 12:48 PM

I have recently watch "Murder Set Pieces" and can't make up my mind if I was entertained or not.....it was good to see some Grindhouse style going on in this film but I thought the gore was a little over the top in some places. I also feel that the director cares more about the hype surrounding the film rather than the storyline which was a little weak in places......?

Posher778 03-07-2008 05:03 PM

Jackie Brown- 9.5/10

I'm starting to think this might be my favorite Tarantino film after Kill Bill V.2... It's really underrated.. I like it better than Pulp Fiction...

Posher778 03-07-2008 05:46 PM

Bone Sickness- 0/10

I had to turn it off. There's a point when something becomes so boring that it forces you into a coma, and i'm not ready for that. My video on Ebola was better than this. The only reason I rented it was because it was on that one compilation in general. Terrible
