I guess you have to watch something like that after "Funny games". To get your mood back on track.

The last noteworthy movie i saw, that is horror/ thriller related, was "Beneath". No gore that i remember, but a good story never the less. I will be watching "Jesus Camp" tonight. I think that will be pretty scary in itself.

It was funny, but I'm not a huge fan of comedy. My wife really loved it!:)

The Loreley's Grasp - 7/10

In Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

I saw this in the theaters, and didn't care for it much. Watched it on Friday, because my friends wanted to see it, and liked it a little better. It's not really recommendable, since the jokes get stale quickly. But, some do work. And I love Kevin James.

2.5/5

This is such a funny, well made, and honestly fucked up movie, and it's really good. Love it.

There's Something "more" about Mary
dvd. Lots of extra scenes and a whole other storyline thrown in too...good value.

I last saw Scream 3, or at least most of it...for one reason or another, I've never sat through the entirety of it...I guess, I just don't like it.

That actually is the one I saw, just didn't mention it. I've only seen it today and bits on tv a few months ago, so i couldn't tell a difference, but either way it was a good flick.

Rescue Dawn - 5/10
It was O.K.... Nothing spectacular. Bale and Zahn were good in their roles, but the film just dragged on. I expected it to be better.

Annie Hall (1977)

Woody Allen knows how to make a film real, something people can really level with. This is his finest film.

One of my favorite modern Christmas movies... It makes me giggle and get a little teary-eyed every time.

Just Friends

What I like about this holiday comedy is that it's a light film. It's not trying to be the next best thing. It's trying to be a comedy where, if you have a bad day, you can put this in for 90 minutes and make yourself feel better. And I like to watch these movies a lot. Don't get me wrong, I'm one for a serious drama. But, every now and then, I want a no-brainer movie. A movie where I'm going to have fun, and that's it. Another reason I like this movie is because I can relate to Chris (played by Ryan Reynolds). I'm always stuck in the friends zone. Girls see me as a sweet, charming, loving guy. And they also see me as "just a friend". I hate being that guy! They go out with jerks, then complain about not meeting a nice guy, yet I'm right there for them. I understand not wanting to lose a friend. But, what makes them think the relationship won't work out? Well, I don't want to get off onto a huge rant (a mini-rant will do just fine). So, I'll get back to the subject at hand. Just Friends is a light, fun film that you'll laugh at and just might relate to.

La Belle et la Bete (Beauty and the Beast) (1946)

This was the first time I shared Jean Cocteau's brilliant and magical fairy tale with the kids. They loved it just as much as I did as a child. This one ranks up there close to The Wizard of Oz for it's ability to enchant children and make old themes seem wondrous.
