Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare barely squeaks out one extra rotten egg to finish with 5,
A Night To Dismember follows closely behind with 4 decaying tomatoes,
while Sleepy Hollow High gets 2 stinking pieces of cheese smeared on it.

Round 1 Match 7

Apart from the uber-cool intro sequence, was anything else salvageable in this mindless crapfest?

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...DL._SS500_.jpg

vs.

As if the crappy name isnt enough, awarding even one star to this flick would be an act of too much generosity...

vs.

You actually saw this one? Better head to the nearest shrink's...ASAP...

Ghost Ship had a great beginning.

I couldn't get past 20 minutes of Alone in the Dark...so thats my choice

ManchestrMorgue 10-17-2008 10:12 AM

Day of the Dead 2: Contagium.

Not even trying to ride off the reputation of one of the greats could make it look any better.

My thoughts exactly.

jenna26 10-17-2008 10:26 AM

I kind of like Ghost Ship.....:o

The other two I actually haven't seen except for bits and pieces of Day of the Dead 2: Contagium, and those bits and pieces were pretty bad, so that one gets my vote.

Papillon Noir 10-17-2008 10:44 AM

WOW, that's EXACTLY what happened to ME...I actually FELL ASLEEP, and it was just about 20 minutes in, too

So, Alone In The Dark for me

I liked Ghost Ship AND Contagium (although, I'll admit they weren't great, but Ghost Ship was better than Contagium...Another sadness for me, a zombie lover :()

I liked Ghost Ship, too - in fact, I have it!

My vote goes to Alone in the Dark

_____V_____ 10-17-2008 11:16 AM

Alone in the Dark ends up with 6 rotting eggs, Day of the Dead 2: Contagium gets 2 putrid tomatoes, while Ghost Ship finishes with plenty of love!!

Round 1 Match 8

This one was so bad and stinking it wasnt even funny...

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...7L._SS500_.jpg

vs.

I admit, the first one bordered on tolerable, but this? Ughh...worthless crap...

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...RL._SS500_.jpg

vs.

Who the hell was this supposed to scare? Even the kids were chucking popcorn at the screen...

*sheepish grin* I own Alone in the Dark, too. Got it at a yard sale for $1. I thought "Heck, it's a horror movie (sort of) and it's only $1"

hammerfan 10-17-2008 11:23 AM

Gonna have to pass on this one, too. Haven't seen Yucca Flats.

jenna26 10-17-2008 11:25 AM

Yea, but it still had Tor in it, so there is that.

Summer, totally unwatchable.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer

roshiq 10-17-2008 12:05 PM

The beast of Yucca Flats

Doc Faustus 10-17-2008 12:15 PM

I Still Know What you did Last Summer. The inept beat poetry narration of Beast of Yucca Flats makes it kinda cool, and Anaconda has a giant snake.

haha, yeah. same here.

Disease 10-17-2008 01:28 PM

Anaconda........

bloodrayne 10-17-2008 02:44 PM

Well, I actually like Anaconda AND I Still Know What You Did Last Summer

So, I'll choose the other one since I've never even heard of it, yet still have no desire to see it...Looks even cheesier than my usual faire...

Going with Summer

I didn't hate Anaconda

The Mothman 10-17-2008 05:06 PM

Last Summer

now if it was the Anacondas sequel..thats a whole different story.

Geddy 10-17-2008 05:15 PM

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

ChronoGrl 10-17-2008 05:32 PM

I Still Know What You Did

ManchestrMorgue 10-17-2008 05:41 PM

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

Even the title is stupid.

neverending 10-17-2008 06:52 PM

I Still Know....

Beast of Yukka Flats is a fun bad movie.

The Flayed One 10-17-2008 07:25 PM

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

And Boo.

FUCK BOO:mad:

The_Return 10-17-2008 08:38 PM

Yucca Flats was a damn good time...the narration is classic.

I've never actually seen I Still Know, but it's got my vote on principle. God that looks bad (though, like V said, the first was almost decent)

It's pretty bad, mate. Then again (much to Poshers chagrin) I didn't like a whole lot of the modern Scream era slasher revival films. Sadly enough, I think my favorite one from that particular era was Valentine.

Oh yeah, and I vote for Boo again.

_____V_____ 10-17-2008 09:17 PM

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer finishes with a whopping 17 rotting and smelly eggs splotched all over it,
The Beast of Yucca Flats gets 2 tomatoes, while Anaconda gets 1 rotten egg.

And just for Flayed...

Round 1 Match 9

Just when you thought you had heard all about stupidity in a movie...

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...BL._SS500_.jpg

vs.

Who was this supposed to scare? Grandpa? A horrible waste of time...

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...VL._SS500_.jpg

vs.

The starting credits itself had people beating themselves senseless for walking into a theater to watch this...an insult to the genre, and to audience's intelligences worldwide...

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...EL._SS500_.jpg

jenna26 10-17-2008 09:28 PM

The Haunting remake.....

The Flayed One 10-17-2008 09:34 PM

Gothika.

Terrible.
