I just got caught up reading all from where I last read it, I hadn't realized it's been so long. Excellent work ferret, you are quite talented! Quite unique how you tied all the characters together. I truly enjoyed reading it all. Hope this isn't the last we've heard. :)

I haven't read this kinda stories before. I was only fond of detective, horror & sci fi genre of literature & movies. But man, honestly speaking..this just blown me away. Amazing stuff...there were magic, horror, betrayal, blood, zombie, love...all sorts of awesomeness! I wish every success for your talent.

I just got caught up on this from Friday and wow, Ferret, this really turned out awesome! :) This was so creative, and I love the twist at the end and how all the characters came together, especially mine of course! ;) It's really been great reading this and I look forward to your next adventure. :D

Just copied this to Word incase anything ever happens to HDC and it took up 97 pages at size 12 Times New Roman!!! Way longer than I realized.

Series 2 will be up around October depending on when the Superhero story concludes. Many characters will be returning (possibly from beyond the grave) and the members who weren't in it/ died and won't be returning will have the option to be a new character should they so choose.

Oh, and I realized I promised to include MissMacabre and never did. I'll be doing it next series. Do you want to be the same character you outlined or a new one?

I want to be armed with only a fire ax and still kick ass.

That will fit in very nicely with the story.

Also I want to carry at least a snack in one of my pockets at all times. In case I lose energy from all the swingin'.

Well seeing as you are the town butcher, a few pigs ears and tails in your pockets would be expected.

So whatever happend to my charachter?

He was freed of his disfigurement and mental disabilities when Jeremiah Dante claimed his godly powers, which had been stored in Freak until a time when Dante would need them. After this, he and his mother Monalisa were reunited. He continues to live in the town.

If there is anything particular that you would like to happen to the character, tell me and I'll try to work it in. He was unfortunate in that although it was a key role, his part in the first series was small. However, the next series will be able to feature him much more prominently.

Just read through the entire story again, and its pretty amazing how much creative talent went into making this such a wonderful period piece.

Taking out the story posts to turn them into a Sticky for the Horror Fiction forum, Ferret. Had forgotten entirely about this.
