Results of Challenge #4: 1980's Slashers
I have received all the entries and it's a tie! Both teams submitted all-correct answers! Which means, the tie will be decided in Bludgeon, Shroud, and Scythe!

Bludgeon, Shroud, & Scythe (Rock, Paper, Scissors)
So we will be using this as a tie-breaker throughout the rest of the game. Bludgeon, Shroud and Scythe is play just like Rock, Paper, Scissors. Bludgeon breaks Scythe, Scythe cuts Shroud, and Shroud covers Bludgeon.
Each member of a team must send me a PM with their choice of Bludgeon, Shroud, or Scythe. The first PM I receive from each team will be counted as Round 1. If there is a winner of Round 1, that will decide the tie-breaker. If Round 1 is a tie, then second PM I received from each team will be counted as Round 2. If Round 2 is a tie as well, we will continue on to Round 3. If all the team members have sent me their choices and the rounds end in ties, that challenge will be scrapped without an outing in the catacombs and no rewards will be given. We will then continue on to the next challenge. So, Deadites and Cenobites send me your choices individually via PM. If Bludgeon, Shroud, and Scythe is not completed by tomorrow, May 9th, at noon EST, this challenge will be scrapped. |
I received votes from everyone and 48hours for challenges won. So, starting with the next challenge, there will be 48hrs given for each challenges unless the 48hours falls on a Saturday or Sunday, in which the deadline will be pushed ahead until Monday.
Deadlines for Catacomb Outings will stay at 24hours and there will be no deadlines on Saturdays or Sundays. The Deadlines will always be at noon, EST. RE: Bludgeon, Shroud, and Scythe I have received two choices from the Cenobites and none from the Deadites thus far. I changed the rules post slightly because I wasn't sure if I was clear that it may not be necessary for all teammates to send me their choice as a winner may be determined after a single round (though all teammates should send me their choice as it may go up to three rounds). As soon as one Deadite sends me their choice, Round 1 will start. |

For Challenge# 4, the Deadites win 1 re-animation pack each and a gold key.
The Keys and the Doors: There are three keys, gold, silver, and bronze, and two doors, marked "A" and "B". Deadites, since you are the first team to gather all three keys, so you will have your pick of either door. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...Royale/ex2.jpg There is one catch however, the keys must be turned in order to unlock the door. The combination is also different for both doors. There is no time limit on unlocking the door so if you were to guess the first key correctly, but not the second two keys, the next time you were able to guess you would only need to guess the second two keys. If you fail in guessing the correct combination during the Catacombs Outing, you will not get another chance to guess until you win another Challenge. Catacombs Outing for Challenge #4
There have been twists and turns to Battle Royale for the Undead and here's another one:
Starting with this outing and all future outings, the hunted will no longer be completely defenseless, but armed in the Catacombs! The weapon you will be given will be for defense only! No hunting! The Cenobites make a visit to Weapons Assistant Earl to go over the weapon they will be using, a revolver. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...le/3062636.jpg Even though there are three Cenobites, they receive one revolver with one shot in it as only one person on their team will get to carry it. Cenobites: The person you decide to carry the revolver must PM me to tell me that they are the one carrying it. Choose wisely. If multiple people PM me I will only count the first PM. If no one PMs me, the revolver will be considered "left at home" this outing. Also, you do not get to pick who to shoot as you are the hunted and this is for defense only. The gun will automatically fire upon the hunter if the gun carrier is attacked. If the gun carrier is not attacked and another of their teammates is attacked, the gun will not fire. But since these are actual medieval weapons (the museum was having an auction :D ), they will only be good for one good swing before they will break. Also, one person from your team must PM me (this can be in the same PM or separate) which door you will try to open and the order that the keys must be unlocked. If multiple people PM me or if I get multiple PMs from the same person, only the first PM will be counted, so choose wisely. Results of Catacombs Outing #4
The Cenobites enter the Catacombs, one of which is carrying the revolver.

Neverending and Cactus stand there looking at their watches as the time runs out and the buzzer sounds. With Fortunato nowhere in sight, the gates to the Catacombs open. Neverending and Cactus peer into the darkened tunnel as they hear something approaching. It is Cerberus, the Three-Head Hell Hound! http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...o_Cerberus.jpg Cerberus leaps towards Neverending and Cactus, pouncing on them both. One head tears into Neverending's torso and another head rips into Cactus's legs. Just then, Fortunato appears. Cerberus leaps off of Neverending and Cactus, tackling Fortunato to the ground. All three heads start to maim Fortunato's flesh. A whistle is heard and Cerberus stops. Demon Wrangler Fred walks up and blows the whistle again. Cerberus reluctantly gets off of Fortunato and walks off with Fred. The Deadites use their re-animation packs to heal themselves the best they can. Deadites' First Attempt in the Antechamber
The Deadites enter the Antechamber within the Catacombs. With all three keys, gold, silver, and bronze now in their possession, they are ready to attempt to unlock one of the doors in the alcove.

Glancing first at his team, he hesitantly turns the silver key first. The mechanisms are audible as the the first key is unlocked. Neverending turns the gold key second, which can be audibly heard as it unlocks. This can only mean that the final key is the bronze, which Neverending quickly unlocks. Creaking and gears grinding can be heard as the door marked "B" starts to swing open. The Deadites step back awaiting expectantly for what lies behind the door. Blasts of fire shoot out, narrowly missing the Deadites as the Demon Belial steps out! http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ned_overse.jpg Belial bellows, "Free! Free at last!". He spies the Deadites as he steps forward, the Deadites staring in shock. "For freeing me," Belial continues, "I will let you live for now, but if we cross paths again, you may not be so lucky!" We have few options here: All six of you can continue playing and the Cenobites will take the loss this challenge and will be the hunted in the Catacombs. The Cenobites (or whoever wants to) can opt out now and I will restructure the game for those who still want to play. If nobody wishes to continue (which I hope isn't the case) I can declare a winner now. Everyone, please post or PM with what you decide to do by tomorrow afternoon and we will go from there. I will post the answers to Challenge#5 later this afternoon. |

Well, last challenge we got mauled because one of our members didn't get his answers in. I heard from one Cenobite he didn't submit any answers because the challenge was "too hard." I say let them take their lumps just as we did last time.

We lost fair and sqaure. I don't mind keeping on playing although the tasks are very hard. I'll stay until I die. I was unlucky this time in that I didn't think to check this thread and missed the challenge, and when I did check it, it was too late. Keep going Paps.
