I haven't seen this one yet, and I want to, but I'm not sure it's going to be too good, because what I saw in the previews looked retarded

It wasn't a shit movie. It was one of the best horror movies to come out this year. I liked this movie alot, but I don't think this is Romero worthy. For HIM to direct this movie makes it bad, because he had so much more potential than this. I would have been happy with this movie if it was directed by someone else. I just think that if Romero wasn't trying to please everyone, and went back to just making movies for his fans this movie would have kicked ass. Why make the R-Rating? He should of fought for unrated. I know it was the production company that made it R, but when u really think about it, theirs no point. Anyone who wasn't a huge fan of the series didn't understand if it was a remake/sequel/ or original movie. So many thought it looked like shit. Only the true fans went to go see it. I saw it the day it came out and the theater only had about 8 people in it. You could tell they were die hard fans because they all recognized Tom Savani in it. And everyone stayed for the credits to make sure they didn't miss any cameos. This movie was supposed to be for the fans and it wasn't. I agree with you, Dawn of the Dead will always be the best in the series. I watched it today acutually. I never get sick of it, I probably watch it once every 2 months. But Land of the Dead wasn't a shit movie. It was still a prety decent film, it just didn't live up to its potential.

George Romero was on national radio in the UK yesterday and he was asked if he will be making any more films in the "Dead" series
and he said he difinitely will be.
He sounded very upbeat and excited at the release of Land Of The Dead and he said he has plenty of more ideas when it comes to zombies.
Let's just hope we don't have to wait so long for the next movie.

I'll have to wait till it comes out on DVD.
I was told by a few people the movie sucked.

I think it would be cool if, instead of continuing the Dead series after Land of the Dead. He went back in time and made a sort of prequel back in the same time zone as Dawn of the Dead. Back when the Dead just started to come. Except in a different area. Like from another point of view. I love the idea of a group of people coming together to fight something and Dawn of the Dead was just a great movie to me, so was Night of the Living Dead. (thats a lil too old for me though). Day of the Dead was good, but it was too far later in time to have that "chaotic feeling" and in Day of the Dead they were alot safer. For some reason I think it would be amazing to have a Dead film set in a fast food restaraunt. And take place over like 2 years. I dunno why. Fast food restaraunts (where i live at least) seem so protected. Like they are EZ to blockade off. And all that food u could live off of. I dunno. It seems like such a great idea to me. haha, any opinions?
